Over the weekend, we were at our local mall. Well, the princesses(Cinderella & Belle) were there to kick off the Princess Diaries 2 movie coming out. The line was really long, so I told my DD that we would be seeing the Princesses on the cruise and were not going to wait in line. She could not understand this (she is only 4 1/2), so I tried to reason with her and tell her that the princesses made a special trip so that other little girls could also get a chance to meet them. She then said to me in a very sassy voice..."Well, do you think they are going to be there when we get there, you know they have to walk all the way back!". (We live in the South suburbs of Chicago). All I could do was laugh and explain to her that maybe they will just fly back when they are done. She seemed to be OK with that answer.

Of course the princesses will fly back - Tinkerbelle gave them some Pixie Dust;)

And I have to tell you that my almost 2 year old DS says about 5 times a day, "Mimmie (mickey)......boat......GO!"

Went on his 1st cruise at just 12 1/2 weeks, again at 8 months and we recently got off the Magic in May. Guess he's hooked! Actually his Daddy and I are the ones that love it! Never had cruised before until we were 35--guess he's lucky!

LOL!! Too cute! I did not even think of this one:hyper:

debm, I love your quote under your name! I agree, it is always my goal to get my WDW scrapbook done before the next trip, but does not always work that way!

Kathy -
Even though my DD was 9 last year when we went on the cruise - she loved all the Princess photo and autograph sessions. There also was a major princess gathering - sorry I don't remember what they called it. On the Wonder, I believe it was the morning that we were in Nassau. As it sounds like your DD likes the princesses - you won't want to miss that. Get in line early for the major princess event. The line starts to form a good 1/2 hour or more before the start time.

And - if your DD has a princess gown - she probably would want to were it to princess's appearances!

clh2, we did do the princess meet & greet last year on the Wonder too! She did wear her Cinderella dress and was very excited! I made the dress for her for Halloween and for her Birthday Party - it was a Cindrella one - and am now figuring out how to lengthen it so she could wear it again. I have told her that it is too small, but she would be so excited if I pulled it out of the suitcase on the cruise. She thinks she really is Cinderella in that dress!princess:
