Does anyone have an opinion on this? I have Tevas and love them - I really should have already done this we go in mid May. But I was wondering if anyone liked the Lands End Action Sandal. They're a little cheaper but comfort is of course the most important factor.

Thanks for any input!

I don't know about either of those, but the ones that my girls have and LOVE are Keen Sunport sandals. (see them HERE) They are made of croc-like rubber/plastic, even the laces are coated, so the whole thing is waterproof. You don't have to open, lace, or buckle anything, just stretch them and slip in the foot. They love them, and I do too! :lovestruc

DS8 is on his second pair of LE Action Sandals (went up a size this year). He's pretty picky about how his shoes fit/rub and he said he wanted another pair for this summer. They held up well, are easy to adjust and are very reasonably priced.

My kids lived in Land's End sandals during our Disney trips, no break in period needed either. That was 5-10 years ago though, don't know if the quality is still exceptional like it was then! I do know that the sandals tended to get a bit smelly when their feet got wet and sweaty.

DD refuses to wear Teva as they hurt her feet, toddler seemed to do ok with Teva Dozers, but they too left marks on his feet. We also think that Keen shoes are the most uncomfortable shoes we have ever worn, so I hope they work out for you.

I would check New Balance as they have a water shoe/sandal that is phenomenal for kids. My kids live in these!

Can't help much with Land's End, as last pair we had weren't very comfortable either.

Best of luck, Tiger :)

My daughter has a pair of keen's that we are planning on using on our trip. She loves them too.

Neither one of my kids liked the Land's End sandals. They seem very stiff. I guess it depends on the kid though. I would buy them early enough for them to try for a few weeks. You could always return them to LE if the kids didn't like them.

I got my 2 older girls Teva's for 15.99 a piece at Olympia on Saturday then used the 20% off coupon on top of that and they seem to like them, I think, they haven't put sneakers back on since saturday anyways:)
