So we have the DxDP.. My son is 5.
Does he get an app as well during a TS meal? I just feel like thats alot 3 apps at a table?
Also if say he wasn't hungry while we were eating at a TS meal are they still going to charge him a TS credit for sitting with us / what if he wants to eat a few bites off our plate would we get crap over that?

He does get an app at a TS meal, but the kid apps are generally lighter than the adult selections like a salad or chicken noodle soup or fruit cup.

On the dining plan, it is frowned upon to not get something for each person. However, if your child is not very hungry, you can purchase something smaller out of pocket and save the food credit for another time during your trip.

If NOT on the dining plan, most places are fine with sharing.

Kids get whatever is on the children's menu. That includes "appetizers" but they are small things like a cup of soup or a small green salad.

No, it's really not, outside of the restaurants with rules to that effect (buffets, AYCE, fixed price, dinner shows, and Via Napoli) At any of those places, if your child is with you, you must spend a credit on him whether he eats anything or not. If you do not want to order a meal for your child at California Grill you do not have to. However, you are then stuck with two extra credits for the child.
