Not to steal the thread, but do they have a washroom on board / available for the children? DD is newly trained (as in on her second week of panties) so she knows when she has to go and will tell them but can't hold it long.

I would imagine so because a 2hr adventure with kids may need a little "relief". But check the ages because it says ages 4-12 not sure how old you daughter is.

No washroom on board. My DS has done the ones from YC and GF. At YC, they go out on a pontoon boat at GF they went out on a bigger wooden boat. It's for children ages 4-12 who are fully potty trained. It's a 2-hour excursion, so I would suggest taking her to the bathroom before she gets on the boat. Can't speak for the other 2 adventures, but on the GF one, they go nowhere near a washroom and on the YC one, they could maybe stop for a bathroom in Canada in WS where they look for treasure. You may want to wait until she's a little older and further along with her potty training. With only two adults supervising all the children, for the safety of all, the staff really can't be attending to the individual needs of one child.

What is putting me off is the 9:30 start, with our time difference I am expecting them to not be getting out of bed until 11ish

This is what's holding me back as well. We only have one day available to do this which is our non-park day and the last thing I want to do is rush breakfast and get them there by 9:15 on a supposedly quiet day for us.

My son loved it at age 6, but he always loves little adventures. He did it from POR.

You'll have to use you judgement on how they are in the morning. It would be a shame if they weren't in a great frame of mind to enjoy it.

Wow, just remembered I did a similar trip when I was 7, but that was way back when Discovery Island still existed in Bay Lake (way back when there was only one Star Wars movie).
