Kids Pirate Adventure

Has anyone ever sent their kids on the 2 hour pirate adventure? We're going next August and I think my DS (6) and DD (10) would enjoy it. Looking for thoughts. Thanks in advance.

My son has gone on the pirate cruise from Grand Floridian and the cruise from the Beach/Yacht Club and loved them both. He said his favorite was the GF cruisea because the loot came in an actual little treasure box and they got the mickey ear pirate hat. At the BC/YC they received a pirate bandana. Both serve a snack as well.

I am sending my children for the first time to the GF pirate cruise. They are excited and so am I. I pray that they have a great time. Now I just have to remember to buy a disposable camera for them to take some pictures!

They get mickey ears - I hope that is correct. Then I won't have to buy them this time around.

REALLY??!!! A pirate cruise at the BC/YC too? I knew about the new one at CBR, but not here! I will have to check it out!! Thank you! Thank you!

Loved it, loved it, loved it.

Both of my kids DS8 & DD7 went on this GF cruise this past Feb (last summer too) and were immediate fans. They came back with stories of how one of the CM's tried to take over the Pirate Ship and was left as a Cast Away at WDW's old Discovery Island. They were given PBJ sandwiches as a snack. They took home treasure chests filled with loot as keepsakes and WHite & Red striped Mickey Ear Pirate hats.

I always send the kids with Disposable cameras on these things and I ALWAYS get great pictures back.

The one that leaves from the BC/YC goes to Epcot WSC before it opens to hunt for the treasure.

My DS (4) just went on the Albartoss Cruise (that is the one that leave from the YC) he LOVED it! The burried treasure came in little treasure chests and he had a blast! He was the "baby" on board so the CM's took him on as one of thier buddy's! I was skeptical at first since he was only 4 but after he was off I had no doubts! Aaarrrr!
