Kids Night Out??

Has anyone done Kids night out in room babysitting? We are considering doing this since DH and I will be celebrating our 5th anniversary while we are at the park. We were thinking about taking maybe 4-5 hours and riding some grown up rides and doing the extra magic hours.

Any opinions on this? Good/bad experience with this? I feel guilty wanting some time away from the kids on vacation, but DH and I never get to spend time together.

We just used them for our trip this past June. We arranged for a college aged female to come to our room at 7pm. You must pay for a minimum of four hours. We had dinner ADRs at Narcoossee's at 7:30.

We had Angela. She was wonderful. She came with a suitcase full of stuff to entertain the kids. She was very professional. Asked where we were going, what the kids schedule was, all the right questions.

When we returned to the room, the boys were fast asleep. The room was dark, curtains closed. She said my DS4 watched Aladdin on her laptop. She came armed with a ton of Disney movies.

My son actually asked to see her the next night!

I highly recommend them!

We used them in December. They were great. We had two sitters because our twins at the time were only 10 months old. The girls were old friends, one in college and one was a law student (which came in handy, as it turns out one of my 10 month olds had a complicated legal question ). Seriously, it was worth every penny to be able to have a day with our five-year old, who'd given up a lot of alone time with us since his brother and sister arrived.

Don't forget to leave them lunch and some snacks! Our sitters said parents often forget.

It's good to hear the positive reviews since my DH and I will be using the service this upcoming trip for an anniversary dinner. I was a little nervous about using the service.
