Kids night out or other on-site babysitting service?

After a long weekend with the kids, I am realizing I want to schedule 1 or 2 babysitting sessions just to get a few hours of kid free time to recharge. Has anyone used a babysitting service recently? We’re staying at the Polynesian and trying to figure out what the best approach would be—schedule for afternoon break? Have the sitter feed them dinner? Proper night out? Would love any input! My kids are 6 and 9 and with the various things we have planned for April break, we’re gonna be traveling and sharing one room together for 9 nights, which is a lot for us.

We have coming from the uk for 17 days with our 13 month old twins in 3 weeks and we have once apon a nanny booked for 4 afternoons/evenings, they seem very good and we got the same nanny each time 🙂

Kids night out will do anything you want. You just have to pay for that 'thing' if there is a cost . Dining, parks, water parks, shopping.
It is expensive but worth it for sometime away from kids so YOU can enjoy your vacation.

I thought they couldn’t do anything that involves water? It says that on their website

We had 4 baby sitting nights booked with once apon a nanny during our 17 night trip in May, the nanny we were giving was awful and had to change company for the remaining 3 nights we needed
