Just curious--we are going with friends whose son will not eat anything that is on the menu. Is there an additional kids menu like chicken nuggets or something? Thanks,

Yes, and no. They don't give you an actual kid's menu, but you can request something. Mac n cheese, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc. It doesn't cost extra, but won't cost less. I have heard that you can order anything that is on the Kona Cafe's kid's menu. menu My younger brother did get mac n cheese with no problem. :teeth:

Hope this helps!!!

My kids DS2 and DS5 ate the wonton chips, as the other food came out, I realized they really weren't into it so I ask my waiter for some chicken fingers. In less than five minutes they were on the table :flower:

They ate the cheesy potatoes, and DS5 ate some shrimp (5 yo with champagne taste!)

They started getting restless toward the end of the meal, and my very worldly 2yo asked the waiter for ice cream. We were still eating meat, but the waiter brought out two bowls of ice cream for my boys. :teeth:

We were there in May and my daughter got a grilled cheese and was offered a second one when she was done - so it was all you can eat as well. She was also offered a smoothie as well.

So even if the kids aren't going to eat the regular menu, they will be charged the same even if they just get a kid's menu item? That seems kind of pricey for a cheese sandwich.

Yes, unfortunately this is the way it is with any buffet or pre-priced meals....most of the time. Unless they give you a menu with children's items on it, which is not the norm for buffet or all-you-can-eat restaurants. These kids items are not priced individually, rather they are items included in the child's buffet price. (Although I have read once or twice reviews on this board where the wait staff did write it up at alacarte pricing, but this is not the norm.)

Now, for non-all-you-can-eat restaurants, unless you are on the dining plan, they will charge you for the meal you order; ie kids price for a kids meal.
