Leaving next week! Wondering if I need to pack things like children's tylenol and/or motrin. We are trying to pack very light and I would rather buy it there if needed. I'm staying at WL - is there a store at the resort where I can buy children's meds and/or does each park have a store that has a selection of kids medications? Thanks in advance!

There are gift stores in the resorts. I think the gift shoppes carry those medications. However, as I'm not sure, I would go ahead and pack it. Better to not need it and have it then not have and need it.

You can get the basic medicine's in the resort gift shops. Each park has a baby care center where you can get medications etc. Put you will pay a premium price. I just pack them, every time I have not packed them I've needed them.

I always have meds on me no matter if we're out of town or around town here. It always seems to come in handy. I'd just go ahead and pack them :)

bring them with you they dont take uo much space and you will have peace of mind

I agree with everyone, bring the meds with you. In the diaper bag, I carry a little makeup bag and in it I put the little extras, and in it I always carry Children's tylenol.

I agree, pack them. Of course the one time I didn't pack it, we needed it at 1 am in the morning. DS, 3 at the time, was burning up with a fever. I called the front desk at POP and they went into the closed gift shop and brought some Children's Tylenol up to our room.

I would recommend taking it with you. We needed Tylenol a few times for our teething daughter. While you can buy it at the gift shop or in the park, most places are closed after 11pm, so it would be difficult to ti find anything that late. If you need it, you'll want it right away.

check with your ped. they may have sample sizes that they could give you. Small bottles with only a few doses. Great to travel with, ours keeps a basket with over the counter samples in the first room where they weight the kids.

I agree with everyone else. My kid got sick in the middle of the night and the giftshop was closed. the front desk got me the medicine but it was an unecessary delay if I had the medicine

I always take ours with us. The stores have basics but they are $$$. I agree with the previous posters that the front desk will get you meds but it takes a little bit of time. A few minutes can seem like hours when your child has a fever. Also if you need perscription drugs or over the conter "Stuff" Turner Drugs will deliver them to the resorts for you for a $5.00 fee. We had diapers and a few other things delivered when DD had a stomach bug thing and we went through all our diapers and reserve diapers. They were cheaper than the baby stations and the gift shops. Good luck!

I agree with bringing your own just in case. Over the past few years I have had to purchase, Children's Tylenol, infant Tylenol, a thermometer and childrens cough and cold medicine. I found all at the resort gift shop with no problem. (they were expensive.) I did also have to call the local clinic, they will come to your room( I can't remember the name, though) My DD7 had a severve ear infection when she was 1 1/2. They called in a prescription to Walgreens, which is not very far. A few miles maybe. Make sure you have your insurance info and your doctor name and info with you. just in case. It makes things a lot easier.
