Kids meals and ages of kids

If we do not have the Disney dining plan, will my son (11 at time of trip) be allowed to order from the kids menus?

At almost all places he will be. It has been reported at a few of the non-Disney owned places, they offer an adult portion of a kids meal, but it’s pretty rare.

at most places where you order from a menu yes but at all you can eat/buffets you will be charged as an adult no matter what he eats
