Kids in costumes

No, I absolutely know there was something printed previously. Because when DD12 turned 10 I asked her to make sure she didn't want to dress because it was her last chance to do it. With the exception of the Halloween party of course :) I just don't know where I saw it and can't find it now.

Hmm, now I am wondering where I got the 12 year age limit from, I could swear I saw it somewhere.

I know!!! I could SWEAR I saw it somewhere to LOL I am wondering if it was maybe one of the books I read or something like the unofficial guide maybe?

Last month we saw an adult/possibly teenager dressed as Tink near ToT. She looked very real from behind, and my DD approached her and realized when she turned around she wasn't the real deal. I can promise you, no one is going to tell a 10 year old wearing a princess dress that she can't wear it in the parks. I have also found that there are more little girls dressed up at WDW vs DLR.

It did use to say 9 and under. I remember seeing that. Now it says adults. And it is unclear if they mean "Disney adults" or "adults". Certainly, the average guest reading that would think adults over 18. Since many teens do look like adults they should change it to adults and teens who look like Disney characters may be asked to change. It seemed to me that they were relaxing the rules a tad.

I don't read the books or UOG's so it had to be on the website.

I'm glad someone remembers seeing that. LOL I do agree with your thought that since teens look like adults they should have an age limit up, I can say that if my DD15 dressed up as Tink she would look enough like her (well, without her glasses lol) that people would think she was a character.

My girls ALWAYS wear costumes in the parks...especially if we are doing character dining. I always either have them wear a little dress under it or bring one along b/c they usually change at some point.

Both girls are wearing their Minnie costumes to our breakfast with Minnie and my oldest DD7 insists on bringing her Rapunzel costume for meeting Rapunzel and her new Merida costume for meeting Merida  I told her we don't need a million costume changes haha but truly this is what they love!

Have you looked into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? That's something else my girls absolutely love doing. They love walking around after feeling and looking just like a princess!
