I called today to check on a code and was told I have a "new" code that just came out today that lets kids go for free!! Considering we have 3 kids, this is a very exciting idea for us! I was told it included room, park tickets and dining!! However when I was given a quote, it sure didn't seem like much of a savings. Can anyone help out with this? Thanks so much!! :cheer2:

I got this same code too and am a newbie. I am wondering if it is a good deal also. Need to call and get a quote I guess.

Can you still get in on Character dining reserving so late?

I haven't called yet, I just got my offer too! What was your quote? We have to stay at POR, and it would have be $2100 or less for me to really consider it a deal...

I too am an Amy, with 3 kids ages 10, 6 and 3 (maybe that is the problem..oldest isn't considered a "kid"??) We were quoted $3599 for 4/25-5/2 at Port Orleans Riverside or $4102 at All Star Music in a suite. When I got on-line and looked at a package at All Star in a suite with hopper tickets and dining package for just 2 adults the total was $3018. I don't get it?!?!:confused3

...and I called WD reservations to check and see if I had a code. No e-mail or postcard or anything!

Hmmmm...are you sure you added the dining option? I just plugged in your numbers and dates...park hopper, with dining plan, AllStar Music suite..$4269.71 (rack rate). What did the CM quote you on that room?

You also have to realize when they say kid's free (3-9)...you don't pay extra for kids in the room...dining meal a day is $10/day...the ticket part is where you should be saving decent on for them.

Unfortunately, your dates aren't within the promotion timeframe. Also, promotion doesn't include park hopper option.

I got this code too and applied it to a 3 night stay at POR...saved about $350:cheer2: :cheer2: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: 2A, 3K

My dates are 4/7-4/10

My first pin:)

I think I need sleep...I read your quote wrong when you said (just 2 adults you plugged in)....

If you go with that deal...you will be paying for your 10 year as an adult for tickets and dining & the park hopper option on your 3 children's tickets....now you would add your price for 2 Adults plus these costs....hope that makes a little more sense.....

sorry again for wrong explanation before....

okay, called back to try and get more info...
talked to a different person and was quoted $3836.35 for an All Star Music Suite for 4/25-5/2. As I thought, oldest child is 10 and is considered an "adult". So basically we are paying for 3 adults for a room, 7 day hopper tickets, and dining plan and getting the 2 youngest kids free. WHEW!! I sure appreciate all the help guys! We might stick with our original plan to go January 2010 during value season and beat the heat, crowds, and still pay just a little more. I will have to do some more figuring on that one!

and the terms of my offer was kids 3-9 free anytime from 3/1-5/2. Any resort, any tickets. How do they keep up with all that???

Wouldn't it still work out cheaper to do the 4/3 deal instead?? It wouldn't cover the April blackout times; I can't see how the two kids are really taking that much off your package.

I got the email too :cheer2: Unfortunately my 'kids' are both over 9 now :scared: Figures I finally get a pin code and can't use it.

Kim, thank you so much for your advice! I have definitely thought about that FOR SURE!! I also priced this exact package in early December (value time) and even with no discount at all, it was only $30 more. I am pretty sure that the weather would be cooler and the crowds would be smaller then, too...I just hope maybe I can get a code for in January! THAT would be a DEAL!! I am jealous of all you folks going so soon!!

I would LOVE a code for next year!!! We just went in August, so even though I definitely appreciate the pin codes I just got..I can't use them, we can't afford to go back after only 6 months! Wish we could, though!

Can't use the code anyways. Somehow I got an email for a woman named Doris with my same last name. This was not a forwarded email. So since it is not for me, I cannot use it. I did send for the dvd though so maybe some other day I will get a code I can use. Bummer.

Amy
