It is a great deal. We will be using the kids fly free on our trip in May. You can book the kids fly free pkgs through Alaska Air, Disney travel and AAA. I have found that AAA is the best deal.

It can be a good deal.
Though to fly out of Calgary is $628USD which is equal to $730Cad.
Which is $1460 for our family, which is what we paid for our trip in December. We paid $1447 actually. Plus DD will be 11 in March, so won't qualify for that free rate anymore.

So you just really have to watch....

We are using it in three weeks, also used it last year. I like Alaska, always seem on time for us and they are nice.
PS It's never too soon to go back.....

Albertanmom, I just got quoted $541CAD flying out of Calgary in June. The times are terrible for us so we're still debating, but the total deal isn't bad.

We booked ours for the last couple days of April so that the kids got free tickets too. Too good a deal to pass up! I didn't even think of matching/bettering it with AAA though. Ugh! That's so gonna bug me!! (Maybe I'll call and get a quote anyway)

we are going march first and leaving in the evening of the 7th, we got a killer deal

5 r/t airfare tickets
Dh, Me, DD (8), DS (5), and BIL (16)
7 day park hoppers
6 nights at BW Park Place Inn in one of their mini suites

grand total $2100! for 5 people for a vacation in disneyland that is only $60 per day, per person.....transportation and entrance to the parks and hotel!

I went through the same thing, but remember the vacation protection package is so much better with alaska, that to me it's worth the extra money over aaa sometimes. Just enjoy
