Kids Fishing Excursion from Poly?

Has anyone done this?? How much $? What did it include? And was it enjoyable? My hubby and 8 year old did the OKW fishing excursion in July(which takes you over to the fishing hole w/ lunch included) they had a great time even in the rain! And my hubby has promised to take him fishing again at WDW! Thanks, Joan

My husband did this from the Poly a couple of times with our children when they were younger. Both times they had a great guide. We were on the Deluxe Magic or Gold Key plan so I can't help you with the cost. They enjoyed being on the lakes early in the am when the MK was so quiet. I'm sure they'll do it again one of these days!

Last December, my DH took our three oldest(12,11,9) on a fishing excursion from the Poly. I booked it through WDW-PLAY. The total cost was about $225, including live bait and tip. They caught about 16 good size bass in 2 hrs. The guide said that they usually catch more. The kids loved it and wanted to do it again. If I had to do it again, we would have skipped MVMCP and done another fishing date.
