hi there, havnt been on here since feb but as our trip is getting closer think i will be back on a lot more!!
have been looking at seaworld tickets tonight & have found that with this website ( not sure if i can name it?) you can choose a Kids Eat free option for £10 each child , it says unlimited kids meals for 30 days!! for under 11's, which we have 2 of, it sayd it can be used in over 50 places, do you think this is a good idea & has anyone used these?

many thanks.

It might be worth it if you are staying offsite and plan on eating most of your meals offsite. You need to find out what the participating restaurants are and assess whether they are places that are easy to get to and ones where you would like to dine. If you are staying on Disney property and intend spending most of your time there I would be so bold as to say don't bother.

yes we are staying off site so maybe will look into this further, thanks.

Hi, I remember you from the DLRP forum last year.

We had one last trip but didn't end up using it. However we were only offsite for 4 days then on DDP.

The places that take it tend to offer good discount coupons if you sign up to their websites and were a better saving for us with 1 child - may be different with more than one child. You obviously can't use the card and a coupon.

eg Village Inn which we loved for breakfast took the card but I got a BOGOF coupon from their website.

Same with Tony romas - they sent me a BOGOF for my 'birthday'.

Obviously a free adult meal was better than a free childs meal.

We had them for 2 children last trip and was worth it in our opinion. There are quite alot of restaurants that take it. We have bought one again for this trip. You soon recoupe (spelling??:confused3) the cost of it. I have also discovered the play and eat card aswell which offers % discounts in many restaurants, shops and entertainment venues.

We had these for our trip in January, and we also didn't end up using them. I sold them on Ebay the other week!

Our kids were to young I think to take full advantage of them, but if your kids are older I think they would be great!

We have used one on our last 2 trips DD(8) eats free from the kids menu.

In our experience the menus can be limited especially for kids closer to 11.

We found that in some restaurants DD would order from the adult menu (not free). Also lots of restaurants offer the same choices, DD can only eat so many chicken nuggets.

Finally most sites that sell the card have a link that lists all participating locations.

Hope this helps.:thumbsup2

thankyou all for you replys, yes dixonsontour i remember you too :) our 1st time in Florida after loving DLP last year! thanks again, not sure wether to get the kids eat free or not, may just be worth it, our boys when we go will be 4 & 9 (hes having his birthday out there!) our daughter will be 14 so she will obviously have adult meals anyway.
