Hi,

We are on going on our first Disney cruise Jan 11th, and was wondering if I should bring my DD disney princess costume. Will she get to wear it? Do other kids bring theirs, or is there dress up in the clubs.

Thanks in advance for the replies.:Pinkbounc

Sure, bring it! :) I saw plenty of little girls dressed in their princess costumes on formal night. They won't need to bring them to the kid's clubs, though, there are dress-up play items there, but if the girls want to wear them to dinner or to the character breakfast it will make for some great photos. :)

Our DD loved (and still does) dressing like a princess! The Princess meet & greet is great for getting autographs and here's a tip:
If you go to the top of the stairs, overlooking the atruim, as they leave, the Princesses will pause long enough for a picture!

Thanks Michelle, That is a good idea but my DD has a beautiful gown to wear for formal night that makes her look like a princess too. I has so much fun putting it all togehther for her, all the way down to the white gloves. I think I will bring her princess costume though for her to wear other nights.

Thanks again. We are so excited.
:D

Hi, I would love to bring DD's Belle costume. I don't believe they have formal night on the 4 night Wonder cruise but do you know if girls wear their costumes on the four night also? Thanks for the advice. Kim

Woops meant to EDIT, pressed wrong button  if yes on the four night, which night do you think would be best. Its our first cruise also. I'm really getting excited now, we're getting close:D

Do they have dress up clothes to buy on board, daughters are excited about getting new ones and was hoping to buy on board, or should I get them before i leave? Thanks !!

We are going to take our DDs costumes for our 3 day cruise. There is not 'formal' night, but Triton's is sort of always 'formal', so I was going to have them dress up thant night.

I wouldn't send them to the 'lab' in their costumes. They will be playing, doing crafts, perhaps going to the sport's deck, or other things that would be more suited to comfortable play clothes.

Now on the day they have the 'Princess Party', they could dress up then, maybe even the last night when all the characters come out for the last goodbye. But not for play time in the lab (just my opinion, of course).

Have a great time!

After Halloween I was able to find a pirate costume for my 7 year old son ($1.00 at K-Mart) - he wore this on the ship and at CC. The highlight was when Captain Hook noticed him and motioned for him to come over. He was so excited - now he can't wait for school to start so he can bring his special picture to class.

We are going on the 4 night, and my DD4 is taking two costumes, one Snow White and one Minnie Mouse. She is so excited. I am doing one to Lumiere's and one some other time. I don't know when, I guess whenever she wants. It's her vacation too! :D

KAMommy - now that's the right attitude to have! Kids need to have their fun and being able to dress up is part of it. Hope you all have a wonderful time!
