Okay, here is my Cinderella zuma outfit I sorta CASEd from ebay (I actually like mine better, that's rare! :rotfl: )

The top is from my fav YCMT portrait peasant dress pattern.

A closeup of the applique. I was a little disappointed that you could see the outline of the "pillow" through the back of the shoe, then I realized, "glass slipper! duh!":lmao: I also was too lazy to hand-stitch the silver trim on the pillow so it didn't line up exactly like I wanted it to. And it was my first applique with my new machine, so not the best.

I love it! I like it better than the one on :wizard: too.

WOW!!!! This is awesome! You did a FANTASTIC job! LOVE this! Where did you find the pants pattern? I looked everywhere for this pattern and had to finally just do wide leg pants! I really want to make a pair of these!

Thanks! I actually got it on :wizard: it is the Farbenmix zuma pattern. I think I also saw it on sewzannesfabrics.com

Weren't you the one looking at the different skirt patterns on YCMT trying to decide between 2? There is a similar but different pattern on sewzannes that is sooo cute, wait let me get the photo... It is called Laguna by Studio Tantrum

Thanks and yes that was me trying to decide, but this one is just too cute! I am going to look at this one!

BTW, Where is everyone getting there ruffler from for so cheap! I looked at Joann's and it was $50:scared1: I heard some say they paid like $15-$20. Help please!

I bought my snap-on ruffler through ebay. I think I paid $30 for it. But I did get an appliqué foot from Joann's for $3.00! Best $3 I ever spent.

That was a good deal! My new machine came with lots ofdifferent feet, but I NEED a ruffler! JHAM, I don't know where your quote went but no Hancock;s near me. Our's closed a long time back!:sad1: I will search online! And I checked out that skirt pattern which I LOVE but would you need to do a rolled hem? If so then count me OUT!

For those of you looking, K Mart also carries the princess pillowcases. For various reasons, I prefer not to shop at Wally World so I was thrilled to see the pillowcases at K Mart as well.

DD has been showing a preference for Tinkerbell lately, she has the princess dress-up trunk and she likes to wear the Tink skirt and wings all the time. Here is what I made with the Tink Pillowcase.

2 MORE WEEKS TO GO!
Wow I really love the fabrics and the bodice of course....really great job! I bet it looks great on too....wow only 2 weeks!!!!! You must be soooo excited!!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I fell in love with this Aurora dress when I saw it a few months ago. At that time, the saleslady (or do they still call them CMs?) told me she thought it was ugly! Funny, I didn't see her there yesterday! I loved it, and was very excited to see it on clearance! I also picked up the tights, and the crown and wand. I origianlly wanted that crown for myself, because Heather is getting one, I thought it would be cute if we both had crowns at Disney World! Lydia said I could borrow it though. ;)

Cute! I almost bought the Tinkerbelle pillowcase and now I know I should have! I love the bright colors your used and the letters look great!

I am pleased to report that my baby is feeling better!   :dance3: :dance3: :dance3: Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes! I'm so happy to see her up and playing and almost back to her normal self! Hopefully we will get back to some normalcy, well as much normalcy as can be had around here! Thanks again for all of your support! You guys are the BEST!!!!:grouphug:

Great news! I'm so happy she's feeling better!

We are all right. But, on Sunday I started having back pain. On Monday the pain was unbearable so I went in to the Doctor. The accident strained the muscles in my back. Hopefully it will be better in 7 to 14 Days. Folding Laundry is almost unbearably painful and I am not supposed to lift anything heavy. My SIL had us over for DInner last night, so I got to take it easy. She is so sweet.

Stephres, What is the name of the Hannah Montana Font?

I didn't get to comment on the accident, I hope the pain clears up for you. It sounds awful. The font is called CoopFlaired and I found it on a free font site. It is the font for the Montana part of the logo. The Hannah is something else, but I think they had it too.

Oooh, I like it! I will have to check out that website, thanks for the info on the pants pattern.

Well, I spent an half an hour on the disney store site trying to order pjs for next winter and then was timed out. They don't have a lot in Megan's projected size for next year. So I am off to try again!

I'm so far behind, I'm just now finishing catching up again, I can't seem to get my gym time, working around the house time and my computer time all in during the day. My computer time is seriously lacking...

Tom, are you using a pattern on the Belle dress? I make similar tops but the bodice is so short I'm afraid I won't get the whole princess face on it.

I'm starting to plan customs for you June trip. I get us all registered on Tuesday of next week. I can't wait. I've been doing ADRs the last couple of days. I have a couple more to do now that we've definitely decided to do the deluxe dining. I'd love to have a whole suitcase of special new customs to surprise DD with on her surprise 4th birthday trip.

Lots to make but at least I have lots of time to get it done. I'm not going to wait though, I'm going to get as much done as possible.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks so much to those who were praying for my BIL and his wife. They were able to pick up the baby yesterday. They found out that he was a preemie, and he only weighs about 4lbs. They have to stay in the Philly area for 10 more days before they can take him home. Do you all think they should get him checked out right away? He does have a history of drug exposure - and they have no idea if a preemie takes any special care - this is ringing bells with me that he should at the least be seen by a pediatrician, but do you think I should ask one of the developmental pediatricians I know at the hospital to take a peek at him? or is this too much????? advice would be GREAT!!!

Thanks, Wendy

I agree the fabric quality is not great. I fused the pillowcase to a piece of white fabric then fused that to the purple. I was worried the purple would show through and Tink would look diseased.

I'll make sure I do that. Thanks!

Can I just say, you two are dorks! And you cracky me up! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Well...:snooty: (thanks for giving me a reason to use my favorite smiley!)

YAY!! I'm so glad she's doing better.

VERY cute!! I absolutely love that applique!!

I've bought a couple of rufflers at JoAnn for $15. Actually, I got them for more like $8 after the 40% off coupon. They only have low shank rufflers, though. They had 2 different types of Whites rufflers- one with all the bells and whistles and one plain- both for the same price. I wonder why they were $50 at your JoAnn!! That stinks!

Stupid server!! Am I the only one who doesn't really understand what a server is or what it has to do with my double post? I don't really need a technical explanation for this, I'm just admitting to my ignorance of such things.

Well, this fantastic new server posted my comments THREE times! Thanks for getting my post count up!

Wow, what a tiny little baby! So, I take it the baby isn't in the hospital, right? Do your BIL and his wife want to have the baby looked at? It seems like they'd get some extra instructions for a baby this small, born prematurely. The baby's health may not affect their decision to adopt, but they may want to know what's going on at least!

Okay, this is annoying! I have been trying to correct the TRIPLE post I made for like 30 minutes! What is up with this thing? Oh well, gotta keep that post count up somehow!
