Yes!!! However she was quite booked until June so I will have to wait.
But we are not going until October so I'll be patient. I have another woman making them some Minnie/Mickey twirl skirt outfits. Sooo.....I can hardly wait to see the pictures of your new ones.

We did univeral two weeks ago, i went with Diego (we mainly hit the old park). It was fast, cheap and cheesy, but DS liked it. I wanted to do a one fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish but i knew I would get all caught up in it and not get anything done before we left! Even just the hat from the cat in the hat I have thought about. Would be adorable!

I've seen Cat in the Hat outfits on Ebay.;)

I am the original poster for this thread, which has confirmed that I am not alone in obsessing over my children's Disney attire. (Unlikely many of you though, I have no sewing skills and only purchase on ebay - LOL!)

Having just returned from a 1 week Disney trip, my question is: where were you all??? Can you believe that after 5 full days in the parks, apart from t-shirts I saw no more than 3-4 custom Disney clothing all week? I couldn't believe it, especially after seeing the popularity of the really good custom stuff on ebay these days!

My kids had outfits for each day and got stopped constantly. We enjoyed the attention but I would have thought we would have seen more of this. Have others had the same experience?

We don't go until September and this is my first (and only) girl! I never did this for my boys. Do you have any pictures to share?!

I also got matching bows made a seller on ebay is going to do it. I just send her pics of the outfits. what acessories do you guys have or make?

I also have 3 boys and didn't do this for them and of course they prefer it like that, they cry when they have to try on their school clothes cause its so much trouble :)

she is my first and only girl and I had a 3D sono before she was born and they said she was a boy too( that would have been 4 boys. oh my)! Later they said that they were never wrong before. so I am soo happy to be able to dress her up.

I will be in disney from august 30 -sep 5

How did you put the appliques on if you did not sew? I can't sew but would love to try this. Also did you make the appliques? Thanks for any advice!

I actually bought those appliques on eBay! I glued everything on (including the applique) with fabric glue from Walmart. I went over it with the machine just to secure it on, but the glue seems to hold pretty well.

Well, I have a necklace/bracelet set for JoJo. I have a bottlecap Belle necklace and a couple of Minnie bracelets...one in classic red/black and one in pink. I just got a braclet with several princesses but it is too big for now. I'm planning to get a Snow White bracelet as well as a Belle. I also want to get a bottlecap necklace with several princesses. That way it will match a few things.

Please PM me the seller who is making the bows for you. I would like to get a set made for the Belle outfit.

thanks!

I'm so glad you all can do this. I'm lost just reading the instructions :confused3 ! I think I'm the only poor sap on the list that will have to continue buying off Ebay.

BTW, I got my dd's It's a Small World Set in the mail this week. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. Also, my dd's JoJo set should be here next week.

You are all doing great work!

Tink561, you are not alone! I was lost as well and will continue to have to purchase our sets....:surfweb:

What jojo set did you get???? I have jojo sets coming for my girls as well. I can't wait to see your It's a Small World Set...:goodvibes

We go quite often (about once a month) since we're here in central FL, only about 1.5 hrs away, and I have to say that I don't see a lot of custom outfits. We see lots of matching tshirts, etc, but like you said, just a few custom pieces. Like you, we do get a lot of attention when we're walking around with outfits that my mom has made the girls (like the pirate dresses in my signature), but we don't get to see a lot from others.

I'm a (seasonal) CM at the Studios, and I don't think I have ever seen one either. Then I figured it is just because of where I am. Most of the outfits I have seen I would have my dds wear to either MK or AK. However, I haven't seen any PlayHouse Disney outfits either. Of course, I'm not there very much since I am seasonal, and I don't spend much time in the animation courtyard or back on Mickey Ave.

matdrew, the outfits are beautiful. I can't tell from the pics though. Are Cindy's facial features appliqued or embroidered?

what would be good for the studios. There isn't a main theme right? Anyone have ideas?

When my girls wear custom outfits, they get stopped constantly. The questions are usually...aww...how cute....where did you get it? did someone make it? Do you do that for a living? Can I have your number? How much for the one she's wearing..? Yes, they offer to buy the outfit right off my daughter... LOL. One time I was almost tempted, but then I would have had to buy another outfit at Disney for my daughter...LOL.
