Where are the ideas for boys folks! I make them for my son and end up selling them when i am done! I LOVE to do it, but it is so much more boring for a boy. The girls are so so cute! I need some new ideas though! He is 4 now though so time is growing thin to keep making them.

I did Monsters and Cars for this past January. In the past I have done Peter Pan, Mickey and JoJo. Elmo and Bob the Builder for his birthday parties! It is so relaxing (kind of) but I am always so proud of the finished product! I'll ask my hubby to figure out how to post pictures!

I also did button down shirts for my cousin and me for a cruise years ago, then when DS came along made him shorts to match! Everyone comments on the outfits and my son just loves it!

ETA: I got it! I'll post more pictures tomorrow! I am so tired. DS does NOT like to pose for the camera so getting a good pictures is often nearly impossible!

Here is his cars one. There is a 95 on the back. Depending on how much time I have usually depends on how much they get on them.

This thread is so much fun. I love seeing outfits. When we were there in Jan there was the cutest little girl playing in Pooh's place with the cutest custom outfit on!

Loving this thread too! We are leaving in 74 days and I am fixing to start sewing my little heart out!! I too am trying to come up with some stuff for my 5 year old son but man is it hard!!

oh now I want some 4T boys things.

come on ladies find me something cute for my DS.

LOL! Mine are 4T! I am trying to decide though, do I keep them and see if they fit next year or get rid of them now. The cars outfit has only been worn 3 times, his bday celebration twice and disney. And monsters only once! I think for all the time and trouble I want them for next year, but next year always comes and I think they look too short!

I can hardly ever find anything on ebay boyish. I look all the time, usually search boys boutique and the pickings are just so slim!

All right! We leave in just a few days and I have all the things I need to make a Minnie head shirt and a princess twirl skirt up in my sewing room. After seeing all your cute kiddos I will now get off the dis boards and get my fanny upstairs. I gotta have my kids looking that cute next weekend!!

I recognize some faces and names in this thread! Hello Rebels! All of the outfits are so cute!

I'm sewing some skirts for our WDW trip but they aren't going to be Disney related. Hopefully they'll still be super cute, though!

I also bought her this in a 3T but she didn't get to wear it since we had to cancel our trip last October http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWA:IT&viewitem=&item=270057174099&rd=1&rd=1

If anyone is interested in it, PM me.

I just bought this dress on eBay too

I love these.... hmmm I just got a pair of oshkosh shortalls today. Maybe in the next 6 months I can figure out how to make a pair lol

I just ordered this dvd from ebay: http://www.kinderalls.com/index.php to help me learn how to make them.

I looked at Little Purple pumpkin boutique on ebay and there were a lot of things for little boys on there.

These outfits are all so cute. I'm getting ready to start Easter dresses for my girls and then I'm leaving the machine out so I can sew, sew, sew.

So, I have to ask. Who (or what) are the Rebels?

little purple pumpkin...and actually I met her on a baby board and she is fantastic to work with and will do just about anything.

For those who make the outfits, where do you get the disney characters/appliques? I was going to purchase a video on how to make them, just wanted to know where to get the disney items. I ordered appliques from someone on ebay, but they were very small. Thanks!!:goodvibes

I think they larger ones you see like in the pic of the belle and cinderella outfit they make them themselves.

Are you ordering the kinderall dvd/

I know some of what that lady makes is from fabric where it actually had the princess on it (or dora) and she just appliques that one, adding to it to give it pizazz. You can normally tell by the faces, as they are extremely hard to applique. I know for sure some of hers are done that way. They are extremely awesome though!

Alot of what i do I look on the disney stuff I have, toys, books, etc and get it from that, transferring to paper then making it the size I need. It is really hard to find the perfect design in the perfect size.

If you go through disney fabric there are some out there that could be appied and then pizazzed to look really good too!

OMGosh I love the outfits....I wish I was that talented. I can just do basic sewing. Although I am making a disney stroller to take with us in September. Just resurfacing the old material with Tinkerbell.

I did order the dvd. Can someone tell me how you turn something into an applique and make it bigger?

They are so easy to make! I had never really done anything before making this pair, just a few basic pillows (which I didn't even know how to close! Fabric glue it was! LOL!).

They came out fantastic!

My friend ordered her girl a pair online and for the cost they were cute, she only paid $25 including shipping. She is on the left!

Here are a couple more of mine. I have my pictures scattered everywhere!

Oh, here is a better one of the front!

My friend also ordered a CD on ebay and it gave very simple step by step directions. Although almost so simple you didn't need the disc.
