It's White(s?) brand. But, there are a 2 different styles of Whites brand rufflers sold at JoAnn for $14.99. Unfortunately, I got you the one without all the fancy stuff like in the YCMT tutorial. So, just blame your troubles on me!

How much was the Brother serger, or don't you know since it was a gift?

Well, since I can't seem to manage basic ruffling I apparently do not need the one with the bells and whistles! That would be way too advanced for me, LOL!

I directed DH to walmart.com so that's what he paid (just looked, $232).

about 500 pages ago, someone posted how to watermark a photo. But I'm not sure I want to watermark. I want to hide the face. I came across a cute outfit to show and it's not my kid.

Did someone help you with this? If you will PM me, I can either tell you how to do it, or you can PM me the pic and I can do it for you.

I got the Brother Nana recommended from Wal-Mart.com. I believe it was $237 with 97 cent shipping. I LOVE it! I still just do basic serging, haven't ventured beyond that, but I could serge all day. It is fun. Even my sister fell in love with it. It is a little pain to get threaded correctly (I guess they all are) but it comes with a CD I popped into the computer that really helped. As long as I thread it right I have no problems.

Back in Sept DH and Dallas took the neighbors truck to the flea market to pick up some new furniture I had this guy build, I drove in the car seperately. They left before me to go home, well on my home I see a traffic jam, then someone in a red shirt, DH had on a red shirt, I was pratically on it before it really truely hit me it was them, but from the first slow down I was like oh god, on no, not them please! Thank goodness they were both okay for the most part! Lady pulled out in front of them talking on her cell phone (we dont even own one so I totally despise them now, even though I hated it before when people drove and talked). She got ticketed, but now months later and I am still out the $300 for the carseat, $600 for the furniture (I have it atleast but banged up, it was for my sewing room) and thousands for medical bills, mainly just back and neck pain on DH. The nightmare still lives with me, I am super sensitive and won't go near that road.

We drove to disney the next week and cried the entire way there and home, DH just didn't get it. It was so stressful to remember what happened and try to drive peacefully!

Anyways, so glad you are okay. Sorry to ramble.

When it first happened I just sat there and cried and cried. I kept saying to DH, "look what he did to my van." My DH was with me but he had his nose in a book and didn't see what happened. He was so astonished. He just kept asking me "he pulled out right in front of you?" My back is starting to hurt, and we are supposed to be having cake and ice cream tomorrow for a little party for DD's birthday. I need to clean up my house.

Wow that sounds really scary. Our insurance agent said that they will have to pay for new carseats for us, since it was his fault.

I took that road because I thought it would be safer than another route. But I know what you mean about not wanting to go near that road again. I don't think I will want to drive that way again.

This darling Minnie dot set was made by Princesssswfs...WOW is an understatement! Maddi loved dancing with all the characters in this set. When we were at Mickeys bbq Minnie saw her and ran to get Mickey and bring him over to see her in it. It was soooooooooo sweet! Thanx Amy!

I'm so glad you are okay! And I'm glad you got photos! Several years ago (1994!) I bought a new car. DH and I were living in an apartment and had an assigned covered parking space. I parked with the front of my car facing a fence. On the other side was a church parking lot. I'd had my car for a couple of weeks when some idiot on a motorcycle was goofing off in the church parking lot. I was BBQing on my little apartment porch and heard a horrifying screech. I went downstairs to see a motorcycle lying across the front of my new car. (The idiot flew/jumped off before the motorcycle went through the fence). I grabbed my camera and took a bunch of photos. The idiot was fined for reckless driving and took it to court. I had to go testify in court. I brought my pictures. The judge took one look at them and the charges stood, case closed. It was way pre-digital for me or I'd post the photo. Years later (and because no one was hurt at all) it is pretty funny.

I finally got some pictures of the Beaded Tiaras the girls and I made the other day. She was eating Fruit Loops, and playing with them. She thought she was hilarious!

If I could figure out how to crop Liddy's photo smaller to match the photo of Heather Sue in your siggy, it'd be perfect for this comment...."WOW, they look so much alike when they smile!!!" Is she Heather's Sue mini me? Cute! My niece is looking like she's my mini me with darker red hair.

Yikes! That shakes me to the core just looking at it! Thank God you're all okay! I saw a fender bender today & began counting all my blessings, because I've never been in a car accident. I was thinking I wouldn't even know what to do. I'd probably call DH & cry, then he'd have to figure out the rest.

This is the most precious shot with Minnie I've ever seen! Get this blown up into like a 20x20 & frame it! I had a magical encounter with Minnie in DL & she skipped across Sunshine Plaza, holding my hand! I was giddy & felt like I was 7 y.o. all over again.

I need Ratatouille Help! I just booked Kirsta's Bday party. I usually do this big spread at our church. Last year was Jasmine and I made the kids magic carpets and lots of other stuff. This year we are having the part at the Young Chef's Academy and they'll be making pizza. The kids will be getting chef hats, and I thought we could make some aprons? The site that can't be named, doesn't have fabric. Well they do, but the print is really huge. Just something plain? With an iron on picture? I didn't see the movie, but Kirsta loved it. What is in the movie that can do on the apron? Anyone with some great ideas? Make a girls apron and a boys? Or just go simple and make them all the same?

I'm curious, are you using a pattern or have you found pre-made chef hats? You could glitter glue each kid's name on the brim. As far as apron's I'd go for something real simple & crisp. Iron on clip art of the main character rat (his name escapes me) seems easier than applique to me. I'd make them all the same. Good luck, I love planning kid's theme parties!

I just wanted to let you know also since the other person was ticketed their insurance should have bought your new car seat. I was rear ended about 2 mths ago and they replaced my son's car seat. I bought it and they sent me a reimbursement check. So you might want to check.

They provide the chef hats. I thought to do aprons. Now that I've been thinking about it, Kirsta got a sewing machine for Xmas (Hello Kitty) and we can make them together. I bid on a Ratatouille embroidery, so maybe we can do some different with the design. Sometimes, just talking about it, gives me some ideas. I am really open.

I'm trying to find out how to make mini pinata's now. Kirsta always wanted a Pinata, but we won't be in an atmosphere to do that this time. But I can't find directions that would work. They have them on Ebay, but by the time I get 20 with shipping, it's $40.

What a bad accident! I am glad to hear everyone is ok. If you have any problems with the insurance claim process, let me know. DH is a manager in the insurance claim industry. He knows the ins and outs of almost all insurance companies and repair processes.

I'm glad you're ok! Make sure you go to the Dr. tomorrow if you're feeling hurt. We were in an accident 11 years ago with an 18 wheeler (ran me off the highway - almost ran over us) - totalled our van. Anyway, we didn't feel a thing (except shock) until the next day. We did feel it then!
