Are you apologizing about hair?

That is just the cutest, and it doesn't look too too long so he will get lots of wear out of it. Does he say "Arrrr" like a pirate when he has it on?
I love the doll and her clothes. I am going to get my DD an American Girl Doll. She wants one of the ones that look like her. I hope to make her a few outfits and my sister is making her a swim suit.
I wanted one that looked like my daughter but I couldn't find one that was just right. I really fell in love with this one and hope Megan will too. After these clothes I making for her, she had better like it, LOL!
I love this little outfit! And the bell is just perfect!
Lori
Thank you! Now I have to make her some pants or something to wear with the top.
what a very cute and Lucky lil' doll i love the hair it is cute is that a american girl doll?
This is Nellie, an American Girl doll and Megan's Christmas present. I keep taking her out and playing with her, however. I even brushed her hair to try out the American Girl hair brush another mom told me to buy!
Steph_ Love the outfit and the bell is FANTASTIC! Megan is going to go nuts!!!!
Thanks! I hope so! I can't wait to see pictures from your trip. Did you have just the best time?
ummm, if you are insane what does that make me? I am sewing for DD's christmas bitty twins AND JORD! (Not to mention my own personal AG doll) LOL
It makes you a good mom, right? At least that's what I have been telling myself! I can't wait to see Jord's outfits. And I know Teresa will be interested too!
The doll outfit is great! I made a cabbage patch kid outfit (for the baby from when I was a kid, so small) and some build a bear ones. It is so cute to see the finished product. Megan will love it!
Can't wait to see your penguin outfit. I need to start on Christmas cards too. It is so hard to get the kids to cooperate. I tried last weekend and they didn't turn out so I need to try again.
Awww!! That is soo cute! Nellie is probably my favorite Historical doll, and yes I think she looks just like your DD! I just finished matching nightgowns for my neice and her Bitty Baby. Tonight I'm working on DD's and one for her Jess doll. They are surprisingly easy. I figured something so small would be a PITB, but not so much. I should have some stuff to post tomorrow. DH is opening a new store and he took my camera to take some pictures on the progress, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow!!
It was easy. Please post pictures because I would love to see them!
This is just precious! I love this! I've been planning to start making some clothes for the AG doll my DD is getting for Christmas, but I've not started. Was it difficult sewing so small?
It was actually very easy. On my mom's advice I used velcro for closing the back and elastic thread instead of a casing for elastic. It was very simple and fast to make. She also advises to sew the sleeve onto the top and back first and then sew closed the sleeve and side at the same time. It is much easier than trying to sew a little sleeve around the arm of the machine. Don't be scared, just try it!
OMG, I just love this! Are you super thrilled with it, because I would be!
