I was quickly scrolling up the page, and for a minute there, I thought you were me! A MUCH cuter version of me, but there is a resemblence there! I love these park pictures!! Your kids are so adorable!
I thought the same thing!!! Not about her being a cuter version of you because I think you are both equally cute. But, I thought it was you for a second, too!

Here I was all ready to go to bed and then I saw your post and you kept me up for a few more minutes. I tried calling you about 3 times today and your phone was busy. Sheesh...give that mouth of yours a break every once in a while! ;)

Thanks for the heads up. Our Walmart gets fabrics a few weeks after I hear of people finding it. So I can start to look now. thank goodness it's only a few minutes from my house!!
i just got the last of Hannah in the fabric only 4 yrds and got some satin to make a pillow for dd . i was looking for something else and she pulled it out then i was in trouble .......
A couple Disney outfits for my oldest.

I definitely got the idea for this outfit from a fellow Dis Boutiquer. I appliqued the Mickey head on the shirt and used Liquid Stitch for all the little cutouts on the jeans.

I've shared the top of this one before but had originally paired it with patched shorts. She outgrew the shorts rather quick and we're going to the World in January so I embellished jeans instead. The black shirt is optional depending on the weather.

I still have a snowflake outfit to share but probably won't take pics for another day or so.
cute ,,, i love the last one that is def a case outfit okay they all are.

I was wondering if you had ever tried doing a paraffin dip first thing in the am for your hands? I am an Occupational therapist, and this is something that we do in the clinic, and also recommend that our patients do at home. The paraffin heat seems to really "soak into" the joints better than anything else! We do like 5 dips, wrap in saran wrap and then wrap with a towel to keep the heat in!!! Just an idea since paraffin baths are available everywhere this time of year!!!!:wizard:
that is good to know. thanks

I had a bunch of multi-quotes going and then my computer locked up- UGH!!!!!

You're not. I have issues with Tessa's dressing in anything remotely suggestive. She's just a little girl, but still...I even turned her Little Mermaid shirred tube dress into a skirt because it kept falling down too low.

I'm Teresa's only sister...HEY, WAIT a minute!!!

I know someone who can teach fish to play dead...

Thanks for rubbing it in. :snooty: Teresa and I have both expressed an interest in having Wendy cut our hair, but she has yet to volunteer to fly up to Michigan for us.:confused3
maybe me and wendy can leave our families and fly up :rotfl: for a girls weekend... i wish.......:goodvibes

Thanks so much to all those who expressed well wishes for me. I'm still struggling with pain but I'm either getting more used to it or it's lessening. I'm still sewing and have very good motivation to get caught up by Friday - I'm going on a "girls only" weekend with some friends.

Here's one of the projects I completed last week. I have some Christmas sets in the works for this week as well as some twirl sets for 2 girls' upcoming Disney trip.

Gorgeous! As Usual!:santa:
... Hope you're feeling better!

Since I was feeling left out, here's some pictures of Tessa in her "dance class" when she was 2. It was a Mommy and Me class (and I was pregnant). The teacher was pretty awful and never taught them to do anything. She'd say "Do a pony kick" and never showed them or told them, or us, what a pony kick was. The day she got really mad and said "You guys are going to have to start doing what I say before the recital in 2 weeks" is the day we stopped going. She had never mentioned a recital before this and never told the kids what they were supposed to be doing!! I hear tell that the Mommy and Me class was cancelled soon thereafter. Good thing we were getting the classes for free (we're friends with the owner's husband)! You wouldn't know it from her height, but she was the youngest one, by about 5 months, in the class!

So behind, so off to read to catch up. My husband has been in the hospital for 2 1/2 days this week. Totally unexpected. He is still so very weak and doc is not letting him go back to work for over a week.

Can't wait to see what else everyone has created! I just love seeing everything
I hope your husband is doing ok, I will say a prayer for him.

I love when the mailman knocks on my door! It means packages!! I won this on Sunday, it came TODAY!! You would not believe what I paid for this set! (I've spent more on bows!) I am so impresesed, it came in a garment bag (inside a box of course!) Anyway I love it and DD does too!

That is so cute!!! I love all the looks!

The wedding one is my favorite, she looks adorable! I wish I knew where I put Arminda's ballet pictures. She was so teeny tiny! The teacher actually had to put in a lower barre just for her!

Next are the tulle skirts. All in all I did Tabitha's 3 times before I got it right! I also swore I would never touch tulle again :headache: I made the spider web on her shirt with hotfix crystals from artbeads.com and silver metallic puffy paint. When the sun hit her shirt it was just dazzling. Daisy's shirt was bought at Target because it matched her skirt so perfectly I couldn't think of one reason not to spend the $4.00 on it.

I'll get the more recent outfits up as soon as I take pictures. Thanks for looking.
Aww, I love the outfits! The gypsey one was really cute!!!
What an adorable little Minnie Mouse!!!!
Thanks, Teresa! I'm only 300 pages back now, lol. And yes, at least we're still going! We didn't have to use all our vacation fund on the car, just a good chunk of it
We found out that our van needed some expensive work the week we were planning on driving to Florida last year! But, we ended up getting a cheap flight down, ($500ish round trip or all of us) That was SO much fun!!! 2 1/2 hours and we were there!!! It STILL amazes me!

I am so happy to finally be back to the DIS. I haven't been on since last Wednesday when my DS1 all of a sudden came down with the flu He was better by Thanksgiving and so were the rest of us so all was good, onto Friday night, I now start feeling blah. By Saturday morning I couldn't stay out of the bathroom! Then Sunday my DD6 gets the flu, then last night my DS5 started throwing up. UGGHHHH what a terrible week we have had. Somehow my DH(also not so dear) has escaped the flu. He decided that since I have already had it that I should be responsible for the rest of the puking kids!!!! I should have made him stay up until 3:30 this morning with the overly dramatic son(usually not too drama). He couldn't just go to the bathroom, it was this whole production everytime he tossed his cookies...I see now that boys are just not as tough as girls when it comes to being sick even from a young age. I thought it was just the way that my MIL raised my DH, apparently not. Sorry if that was too much info!

But on the up side I got a job at a Mortgage company as a loan officer and they are willing to let me work whatever hours I want and my DH told the kids a few weeks ago that if I had a job that next year we would go to WDW!!!! So I am going to work hard and get some money coming in for the vacation fund That deserves a 5 banana!
So very sorry you are having such a tough week!
So I found my digital camera, DH still doesn't know where his new smaller one is, oh well, I have mine so at least we've got something. Sorry I don't have the pants and stuff with them but they are all packed. These are the new ones I've been working on.

I have a couple of pairs of candy cane striped leggings, I hope they aren't too much with the minnie dot/christmas gang top.

These outfits are great!!! I love the Ariel one! I have both of those fabrics, but never thought to put them together, that looks really cute!!!

One of my friend's moms used to say "God makes kids cute to convince you to keep them." My friend was only partially amused.

LOVE the little outfits you've made your daughter! Too stinkin' cute. :) I love the twirly skirts and would totally copy you ... but I'm probably a little old for the style.

Hey, are you a lurker come out of hiding??? :welcome:

I see you have fish, I wouldn't be flashing those around in these parts if I were you. ;)

I just love this top!

Okay it was wendy(utahmama) i just bought the nice and easy stuff it rocks,
and for the 1st time since high school i have bangs again..
i got to get sewing so that i will have dd outfits for xmas done

I think we need pictures of your new do!!! Come on, please :yay: :yay:

I'm making a mental note of the outfits, so I can look for you!

My dh will help by loading the car tomorrow night! :headache: Oh yeah, and he packed his own clothes, not by choice but because I told him he could go naked for all I cared!!!

Well, he would have been easier to spot in the parks that way!!!
:lmao: :lmao:
Have a great trip Deann! We'll miss you around here!

Finally a picture that makes me think I MIGHT think about letting Little take dance. b/c the first time she comes home w/ a dance outfit w/ no middle or missing a shoulder- illusion material or not...we are D-O-N-E. I think she'll probably have to stick to ballet. I am FAR from a modest person( in the sense that I could walk around a womens dressing room in my underwear without blinking...), but there is a rule in my house that your pants must cover your underwear at all times (boys and girls) and that after 5 yo your shirt must meet your pants at all times.

There was a little dance recital at the mall last year, and I could NOT believe the outfits or the moves that they had the little girls doing! Totally inapropriate! (Lyddy and Arminda weren't in the class, we just stopped to watch)

And I thank you for that...really I don't care at all (so long as you DON'T call me Tiff).

Ok T!
Don't have much time...as always you ladies are doing a loverly job!! I am SOOO jealous. I don't start my new job yet (we're still waiting, my references were great, they're checking my credit now:scared1: ....so we'll see) A job has opened up where B's dad works so he is going to talk to his boss about hiring B on and he'll train him. I hope that works out. It's considerably less money but enough and my FIL got a $2 raise after the first 90 days so we'll keep our fingers crossed!
I hope things come through for you guys!!! Maybe I will plan a virtual cruise with you!

Forget the fish...anyone can teach a little fishy to jump....now creating a figure flattering, cute red suit for an obese elderly gentleman...now that's a task worth undertaking...
LOL...
You have me crackying up Lisa!
I'm up to about $325 on expotv.com this month so I figure I can take some time off from doing reviews.
WOO HOO For YOU!!!!!! I broke $100 this month! I wish I would have stole Corey's camera sooner! Hey, I give a shout out to my Disboutique peeps on my Disney video! (Now, I am giggling because I said "peeps"!!!)
My sister had the illustrious honor of being the youngest patient ever operated on (at that office) when she had carpal tunnel surgery at 20 (is that right?).
Yep, that's correct! I think I should have got my picture on the wall or something for that one!

:rotfl2:Oh Teresa, that's a sickness, really! :lmao:
I knew you would appreciate that!

Aw...my little virtual niece is so adorable!!
OUR virtual niece!

I was probably talking to Mom. You should have called her to tell her you were trying to call me! :rotfl2:
maybe me and wendy can leave our families and fly up :rotfl: for a girls weekend... i wish.......:goodvibes
Wouldn't that be fun!! Or, you could meet us in Florida in May!
Laura, you're still up too, huh? Must be something in the cold Michigan air tonight! You know what's weird, it's warmer right now than it was all day!
I am NOT liking the cold! I went to go away this afternoon, and my battery was dead in my van! I hate that!

She looks like a baby in these pictures! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago!

Besides, being an old-third-shifter myself, my girls can't ever seem to go to sleep before 10-11pm (even though we put them to bed around 9PM!). It must be hereditary! None of us here are early-birds. ;)
But, once they are asleep = it's my time to work/sew/draw. :goodvibes

Lydia actually went to sleep pretty early today, just after 11. Yeah!

Well, I suppose I SHOULD ADD that they get to sleep-in a bit every day.
They get up to go to their their special school around 10AM & get home around 3:45-4PM.
+ Their teachers keep them pretty active in school.
They almost ALWAYS take a nap after coming home! :)
So, I guess staying up til 10PM isn't so bad, in their case. ...

Aliese (5yr old, hyper.) only sleeps about 3-4 ours TOPS, at a time. So, she gets up around 2-3AM & goes back to sleep around 5-6AM ... She's really great about it most nights = she sits & "reads" her books, or draws, or build big CITIES (like in lilo did in lilo & stitch!) with her duplo-blocks & train set :) Sometimes, when she's reeeally wound-up (SP?), she likes to RUN!!!!! Back&Forth, from one wall to another in her room, over & over & over again. That lasts about an hour, then she'll find something else to do. (yeah!)
We keep joking that we should get her a treadmill ... but have yet to find one safe enough to leave in a 5yr old's room.
So, yup. I'm up most nights. :)

Make sure you bring it to mom's with you tomorrow so we can play with it while the girls ride Butterscotch! I'll even let you finish up those 4 skirts I was crazy enough to start making.

I suppose I should fill everyone in on this skirts, in case they're actually interested in talking about sewing on this thread! :rotfl: I am making some double layer strip work twirl skirts (YCMT pattern) for Tessa, her cousin Shylynn, and their Build-A-Bears. I am sick of looking at them and haven't touched them in over a week. I also got some long sleeved t-shirts and a sweatshirt for Sawyer to applique with something Christmas-y to match. But, I haven't started them yet. We leave for our early Arizona Christmas on December 8, so I should really get to work on these.

okay i will post some tomorrow i just took a bath so it is blah but tommorow for sure, night all:goodvibes

And don't forget to get a picture of those jazz shoes in, too! :rotfl2:

Okay, this is my last post for tonight, I promise. Besides, I'm getting a little loopy here at 1:30am (and Sawyer wakes up around 7:00am).

No, it really wasn't!! It took a LOOOOOONG time to thread the first time though! I'm hoping I get faster at it!
