Ok, here's one thing that's been keeping me busy - a little pirate skirt for DD. It's the petal skirt pattern from YCMT. It wasn't too hard, really - but it took me forever to do the rolled hem on all those petals!

This is soooo cute! And I think either would look adorable. I guess it just depends if you want really casual with T or a bit more umph with the peasant top.:goodvibes

I looove this pic, you guys are tooo cute!:cutie:

Teresajoy_ I also have pics of both of my daughters coming out via c-section! The nurse took a ton of pics in the O.R. so I basically have the entire delivery in pics. Of course they are rather graphic and for our eyes only!

I almost forgot, look what my mom made for Megan. She had a Halloween party at her dance studio tonight and she looked pretty stinkin' cute, if I do say so myself. She wanted her outfit blue with ELA for Jacob's soccer team (East Lake Arsenal). She plans to wear it to his games and cheer for him, isn't she sweet?

That is too cute! I can see where you got all your talent from!

Her hair looks cute too! We are always trying to do something with Leigh's hair, but sometimes she throws a hissy fit.

I tell her if she wants to go out looking like a ragamuffin, then so be it.

She then tells me that she is not an EggMcMuffin, but a little girl.:rotfl: Then, and only then, will she let us brush it!

Yes, Arminda can wear it when she gets married to Jacob! :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 You know, I always tell my children that they must pick their husbands and wife carefully, because I do not want to share my grankids with just anyone! I could live with that arrangement! (In about 20 years or so!)

She is one funny little girl! Well, I will tell you what I do. I put her on my bed with the dog in her lap (to distract her), spray her hair almost dripping with detangler, then comb in some gel and then braid it. I usually get down to her ear when she starts screaming at me so that's why the top looks better than the bottom. Then when I am done she admires it in the mirror and is happy with me. It took me a while to get a finished braid. I used to get chicken and stop half-way. Now I just hurry and tell her how great she's doing and to keep petting the dog.

That's very wise! I am so fortunate that my parents and in-laws get along and are both pretty easy. I just wish there were more grandkids because they both like to spoil these kids like nobody's business!

Very funny Tom! We have fights with Lydia's hair too! If we are not going anywhere, it oftentimes does not get combed or brushed at all (GASP!!!)

Here is something for the boys:

These are adorable! Sophie would like to say hi :wave2: to Scrappy and she would like to know if he likes bananas?

How old is your Scrappy?

But this week I have to make
a Pluto costume,
A Jack Sparrow costume
and a Peter Pan costume. So I will be busy. I also want to work on making some Pirate overalls for DS.

DH helped me scan a couple wedding pictures so here are some of mine.

Here is the little church in Gatlinburg, TN where we got married in January 1999.

Awww, Sophie still has her puppy nose! Scrappy turned a year in May and sadly, does not get people food so I have no idea if he likes bananas or not. That is the cutest picture! His favorites to sneak if they fall on the floor is popcorn and anything chicken.

Was Sophie hard to house train? I kept telling Jacob, Scrappy is this cute because his cuteness is the only thing keeping him alive right now! I thought he would never get it, and I stayed home a lot with him!

Thanks for all the well wishes for Nana!! She's up this morning and is a little sore, but in good spirits. She has a bit of a black eye from where her glasses cut her, but she's doing well. She's a little disappointed that she can't do any sewing for a while.

THanks for the update. Good to hear she is in good spirits. Nana drink lots of milk (if you're not allergic) Hope you heal quickly!

Sophie was hard to house train but not as hard to train as our male schnauzer he is still a naughty dog and is not allowed upstairs where the carpet is. He goes in his crate when we are not home and at night. She goes in a crate when we leave the house. I try to take her outside every two hours. She sleeps in my bed at night though and wakes me up at 6:00 am every morning.

Sophie stole that banana from my three year old! I let her take a bite while DH took a picture and then it went in the trash. But she isn't usually allowed to have any people food.

I have LOVED seeing everyone's wedding and preggo pictures. I can't find any of the preggo ones, but here are a few from our wedding.

Nana made my dress, except for me hand-sewing about 3,000 pearls onto the bodice. If I can find one later, Nana also sewed all the bridesmaids dresses, my MILs dress and the flower girl's dress (then she went out and actually bought her own :lmao:)

Great pictures! You look beautiful! And I don't blame her for buying her dress after all that sewing!:rotfl:

I have my DD CONVINCED that I get to choose who she marries (If I can keep her thinking that for another 16 years I have it made LOL). And I have chosen someone, he is a sweet little boy she knows from China. His family and I get the children together several times a year now that both children are here in Florida. She tells everyone she is going to marry him. Then Jord can go live with them.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Ok, I was very jealous of everyone's beautiful pictures that I found mine. I was 24 and Tom was 25. I hate sleeves so I wore a short sleeve gown for 30 degree weather in February. My mom thought it would be cute to have all those little trees around, looks kind of Christmasy to me. I was not into planning and beside picking the dress and asking for yellow roses (my grandmother's favorites) she planned the whole thing.

Pregnant with M, sorry it's from a scrapbook page:

Hobby Lobby has red/white strip in the calico section that always seems to be 25% off!
