Ok, here are pics. They aren't great, but it's the best I can do for now.

This is for dgd to wear to Epcot. You might remember the twirl skirt I made for dd2, this goes with that.

This is like a tshirt dress, only it's shorter. It's a twirly top!

And here a is a sneak peek at the Jasmine outfit I'm making for dd8 to wear to CRT...
Spiral skirt (still waiting on a hem!)

I love all of your outfits. Did you use a pattern for the Nemo dress? I want to try a dress like that.

I have the same fabric as the twirly top and don't know what to do with it. Now I may have an idea! Thanks!

Your santa leopard it too cute!

I want to try a spiral skirt as well. Did you think it was hard? Did you use the pattern from YCMT? I may have to purchase it.

You know both my brother and I had tubes and I never even thought of how my Mom felt about it until you (teresajoy) mentioned it. I bet it freaked her out too. I think it is that part (the putting her out part) that is freaking me out the most right now, then there is the actual cutting part and the what if they leave something inside her part- I think I've seen to many of those hospital shows on discovery channel. Why do we watch those any way don't we have enough to worry about??? Then the healing part- she is so active and busy. I know she will be in pain which is going to break all our hearts seeing her hurting. And of course the anticipation of it all................TIA everyone.

:grouphug: Yes, I think putting them under is out worst fear. My 2yo goes Monday for surgery and an overnight hospital stay. He is getting his tonsils out, adenoids out and ear tubs in. Its the anesthesia that scared me most. You would think I would be used to it by now. He is my 3rd child to go under in the past year and a half. Last April my no 3yo had a toe removed, than this past august my 8yo has tubes put it. I have no idea what it is with the ear tubes.. not history of chronic ear inections..

Because everyone is showing off bows and talking about them I thought I would show you some of ours
th_DSCF1687.jpg

These are just a few we still need more!!!!;)

Cute bows! I'm too scared to try to make bows. Plus my DD's won't wear any type of hair piece. :sad2: It's like, well, pulling hair to get them to wear one. And then it's only in for a short while.

The Nemo is a stripwork jumper from YCMT. The spiral skirt was very easy, time consuming to cut out, but easy to sew together. The hem is tricky, that's why it's not done yet!!

TNmom_ The outfits are FANTASTIC! How did you get all that work done?:confused3 I especially like the Jasmine! Great choice of fabric!

Nice bows!!! Did you make them?

That work has been piling up, waiting for pictures. The Santa set I made yesterday, but the others have been done for a week or so.

Thank you! And yes I did make them! My addiction started with bows and has worked its way up to sewing!:scared:

NO, NO!!! Don't go!!

Susan, thank you for adding a pic of your DD..It is painful to think of that gorgeous creature going through the things you told us. I hadn't mentioned it before but having lost my sister for 8 hours (she was kidnapped) I can't imagine what it would have been like to have been missing her for so long. I can't tell you how glad I am that you have found her.

I love those minnie overalls too...is there a picture of the front of them? I love the butt ruffle!!!! it makes me smile:goodvibes

First of all, how absolutely adorable are those children!!!:cutie: They are sooo cute and look like they are having a BLAST! Love love love the outfits! You did a fantastic job!!! Thanks for sharing the cute pics!:)

Thank You to everyone for your thoughts & prayers, advice and just for being there for me!!!! :flower3: :grouphug: Seeing all your beautiful creations helps me to not think about what is coming and to focus on what needs to get done- The outfits, and the packing, and the shopping for the stuff we still need for the trip. (besides the regular stuff-laundry, dishes, picking up after the little tornados that live in my house-their room looks like a war zone) Yikes!!! I am feeling better today- I know it will be ok but still have that worry knot in my stomach.

I have heard of alot of people gettting sick post trip  Has anyone tried the airbourne immune system boosting stuff. I bought some for our trip- they don't have it for kids under 4. So I'll just have to keep the germ sanitzer on hand for the kids and wash their hands when we can.

Here is a pic of the fabrics for the AK dress for my DD4:
th_ry-1.jpg

2 questions: 1. What color fabric should I get to go with this? I bought black but now I am thinking maybe brown, tan, or green.:confused3

2. What fabric should I use for the bodice? I want to do a mickey head applique so I am thinking it should be whatever solid color I choose?
:confused3 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have seen red with white snowflakes at JoAnn's. HTH!

I think it was Aimeeg who posted the fabric. I bought some of the ones she had posted at Joann's and I think I saw the Red w/white snowflakes there as well. At my Joann's those fabrics were separate from all the other Christmas prints, on a rounder all by themselves. I almost missed them. Hope that helps and maybe Aimeeg will answer you for sure.

I THINK it was aimeeg and I THINK she said JoAnns?

Thanks guys! I didn't see at JoAnn's the last time I was there, but I'll have to go back soon & look again. They've been slow about getting Christmas fabric out here.
