You must have been so scared- So glad everything turned out well. I hope that lady got help, She must have been very sad about her life.Kidnapping is scary and something I never want to deal with again. I would not have shared this, but your post made me think of it.
My dd10 was kidnapped when she was a few months old. She was taken from a church nursery. My dh was out of town and I had no family in the area so I had no body to lean on. We did get her back and she was fine. It was somebody we knew that took her.
The person that took my Susie gave birth around the time I did. She gave her baby up for adoption. She told the person in the nursery that I told her to pick up Susie for me. She then took the baby and left the church. Her mom was the one that brought Susie back to me and told me her dd would be getting help for depression.
To this day I have trouble letting my dc out of my sight for any amount of time. The church we go to now requires id cards that match a tag the dc wear for pick up.
Sorry for going on about this. I try not to think about it and don't normally talk about it. This is the first time I have shared this with people I don't really know well.
Another toddler broken bone- Until dd broke her wrist I had never seen any little ones with broken bones- Now I see it is more common- She only had the cast for 3 weeks- So glad it wasn't six!!!GOOD MORNING DISERS!!!!ok. That was all the energy I have for now.
I hope Nicholas is doing better. I wouldn't worry too much, little ones are so resilient. My DS broke both of his wrist bones when he was 18 months old. The Ortho said he'd be in a cast at least 4 weeks. We went back in 2 for a check up and they took his cast off. The Ortho was even surprised. So, you never know.
GRRR... I hate ruffles too. But I agree, w/ steph it will all be worth it when you see that first twirl!!!
...t.
ThanksI've never glued my ricky rack. I just start sewing. If I need a line to follow I will use my ruler that goes with my rotary cutter and a fabric pen and draw one to center the rick rack on.
I pretty much think that you are going to need to tack any bows on by hand sewing. I know that there are some pretty good glues out there, but I can't think of any that would work with a bow that would be pulling and free at the ends.

Cute Cute Cute- Love the animal kingdom outfits they have really become my favorite!!I see I wasn't the only one up late last night!Stephres_ Love the shirt really cute! This is what I was up doing:

ThanksI have done a few different things but not sure what the recommended technique is. I have both sewn on ribbon and rick rack and also used fabric glue to attach. I prefer the sewn in look, the glue gives the clothing a stiff feeling. Maybe someone more experienced will chime in here.

You need to go back out to the Disney for Families Board, where the threads are listed. Find our Kid's Boutique thread. On the right side, it lists Replies. Click that number (16,858 right now) and a pop-up box appears. That shows you who has posted on the thread and how many times. HTH
Chantell ~ who made the list again! Whoohoo!
