Nicholas broke his foot....poor little guy...he is so brave....2 weeks ago when mommy picked him up at "school" he took one look at her and started to cry and limped to her...teacher didn't know what happened...he just started to cry when he woke up from his nap. Mommy called Daddy at work (jock and personal trainer) and he said, oh yea, forgot to mention he jumped down from slide and he was crying and limping, but he was ok....mommy wanted to take Nicholas to doc in am...Nicholas didn't want to go..and he said he was "all better now"...so yesterday am he woke up crying and he couldn't walk on his feet...he was on his knees due to pain...so, xray and orthopedic surgeon...and broken foot...in a walking boot...baby size...hope it heals in 5 weeks...we will be going to WDW!!!

Ouch! Poor baby. Did the doctor say how long he had to use the boot? Kids heal much faster than adults so hopefully he'll be good as new by your trip.

Did anyone here apply for the Moms Panel? Did you hear today? I am especially interested to hear if UtahMama was accepted into the next round; she would be a riot.

I am a DisneyMom Panel reject- I saw the email and before I opened it I was getting a little excited because they said they wouldn't be contacting the people who were not chosen. Then I read it and found I was not chosen. But they did send downloads for a disney notepad and listmaker- haven't tried it yet. Let you all know if its cool or not.

Also, Sorry to make you feel old teresa. I just had to reply because it was just yesterday and I came on here and someone else was feeling the same way, it was like fate or something.

I'll try to get a wedding picture scanned in tomorrow. The Prom pics were a riot- and you were all so beautiful!!!
I got my dd an appointment to see the surgeon tomorrow so I'll be glad to get that all settled before the weekend. So glad I don't have to wait until NEXT friday.

Susan so sorry to hear about nicholas- He must have been pretty tough to wait that long to see the Dr.

This is the dress that Drew wore in her pictures that my nephew took. I am not sure how I feel about it. I loved the fabric when I bought it , but after I put it together I thought it might look a little "jammyish". I don't know.

The green in the background is the sweater Riley wore. The colors looked pretty together anyway. I am anxious to see the pictures to see if I like the dress in them or not. I really wanted something kinda classic and old fashioned but I'm not sure if this worked for that.

Have'nt been posting much lately because I've been busy getting ready for a trip to NOLA next week and trying to get all the comstume stuff together for hubby and I for the LeStat Vampire ball there (I'm still trying to find a pair of victorian looking shoes) But I thought I would post aa few pics of Kiley's BTS outfit. It got here a little late for BTS ( I was going to save it and let her wear it during American Eudcation week)but when we had our first cool day her in Maryland I let her wear it. Sorry about how the pics look my camera is kinda sucky (for lack of a better word) and I should have used hubby's. His is much nicer, but oh well whattaya gonna do ? .

A)What kind of adhesive do you recommend for attaching ribbon to an outfit- Jeans or a t-shirt??

B)And does everyone just sew ricky rack- no other adhesive- Just pin & sew??

C)And how do you attach the Minnie bows to the heads of your minnie head shirts??? Pin them to remove for washing, sew in place, glue???

Here are a few outfits I've done for my dd. I have one more that I've done but no picture and I'm smocking another dress for her that has Ariel and the other Mermaid characters.

Sorry for the bug eyed look! She was wired last night and didn't want to calm down!

Love the smocked outfit! So pretty and feminine and well..princessey!!

This has been nothing but a thorn in my side from the start! I hope I can finish it today. BTW I HATE RUFFLES!!!!

I think sewing is like childbirth. As soon as I see the child with the outfit on, I forget all about the grief it caused me and I can't wait to start something new! Or else I am just nutty!

I love the blue! It looks really cute and I bet that is one long ruffle!

I took pictures of M in her outfit today but I didn't have the card in the camera (doh!) so I can't show you. She could use a modesty panel (tm TeresaJoy) because there is a little kindergartener cleavage going on, and the back is open because I haven't figured out the thread loop yet. I can't decide whether to do a modesty panel or just put a black t-shirt under it. And the jeans came out really cute, although I was cursing them at the time! My hands felt like pin cushions from all the poking while I was trying to sew around those little squares! Thanks to LisaZoe for the directions! Anyway, she wore it to school today and Jacob wore his bat boy outfit and everyone is well so I can't complain!

I love these. The applique is adorable. How long does it take to make the smocking part? The dresses look simple. Very pretty in pink.

I didn't have the sleeve problems that Heather had because I did the short sleeves: they were actually pretty easy. It's not even done because the directions say to make a thread chain to go around the button in the back. Do the directions say how to make a thread chain? Noooooo! Anyway, I am ripping up jeans now to try to make decoupage jeans to go with it: thanks LisaZoe for the directions!

TeresaJoyce: Jacob. The most popular boy's name in 1999 (we didn't know!).

This is really cute. What pattern is it? I am thinking it would make a cute Mulan style dress made with some pretty embroidered fabric. I wish I knew the name of it. MMM? The asian style silky fabrics.

I know what you mean! I hope I can finish today and put it on her! She kinda helped me design it so she got up this morning and was having a fit to put it on but It has no buttons! Can't wait to see pics of the outfit I bet it is adorable! Glad everyone is feeling better!

Walmart! And its really good fabric. Washed and dried really well with hardly a wrinkle!
