Shannon how about one for those of us who have no sewing talent and can only shop for magical attire for those we love ? :rotfl: :lmao:

SURE! I'll post a non-sew version! I'm turning in for the night - but I'll do it tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Someone had requested for one to be made so that it could be used in siggys & such. If anyone wants to use it, that's great. If not, I'll use it in my siggy, and I had fun making it.

I think it's cute. It would make a cute clothing tag. Mine are pretty plain. They are white, with a black border and in Disney font, it says, Castle Creations for your little princess. That's it...:rotfl:

HAPPY 800TH PAGE!! WOW!!! :thumbsup2

I love bling too so tonight I finally broke down and bought a Bedazzler and lots of crystals for it. And to celebrate...I also bought a Bowdabra and lots of ribbon to practice with. :cool1: Yaaaaaaa! I will post some results soon! ;)

I bought a Bowdabra today too! I used a coupon for it and I got some Halloween Ribbon. I will try it out tomorrow.

My cat is Abby.

Abigail VanDerKitty.

Is your Abby a Tabby? :rotfl2: Aww your kitty is named Abby. I think that it is a good name for a cat too!

Any tips on using the Bowdabra?

Alright, more feedback please. Here's a revision. I think I llike this better.

What do you guys think?

Love It! I just noticed your signature btw.... My name is also Shannon and my dh's given name is Robert..... Anyway, thought it was intersting... ok, I am babbling now....

I had a really itchy :wizard: bidding finger. I really hope I get out bid . . . but . . . I really want to win! What is a girl going to do.

Why oh why did I come back to the computer!

I made this Halloween outfit. It's similar to CC's.

I modified the skirt on butterick pattern 5020, the bodice is a ycmt pattern. Hope this helps.

You're correct...that is my little one. No..I didn't use a pattern... I tried to..:rotfl: but there just don't seem to be any cute patterns out there. You can use any bodice and just attach a double skirt. The bottom layer is just white with a white ruffle. The top layer, I sewed the side seams, and cut right up the front of it, angled the egde using a coffee mug, and sewed on a ruffle, then attached the two pieces to the bodice. It's really easy...:rolleyes1

Thank you ladies for your help! I think I'll check out the pattern. I am still not brave enough to make anything without one. I love the look of the skirt in the front.

I am already on the hook for $72 in beads and I have two more auctions to go! What was I thinking! Ten minutes left.

All of the outfits are too cute! And I can't keep reading these school stories! Dallas starts K next year and I will not handle it well if anything happens!

Here is what I did today, I have really learned, skip reading this thread and I get something done!

I know alot are working or thinking of NBC outfits, so I thought I would post it before I was completely done. That is the back of the pants. The front has zero on it (he needs some eyes still) and then will have 2 pumpkins and not sure about the other leg, still deciding!

I probably should have used black for mouth and eyes! I put on the movie to see what he looked like better but was too impatient and just kept sewing! I accidentally used the wrong green fabric too! But it is close enough.

This outfit is adorable! I love the shirt. The letters on the Jeans look so cool! You did a great job.

I had a really itchy :wizard: bidding finger. I really hope I get out bid . . . but . . . I really want to win! What is a girl going to do.

Why oh why did I come back to the computer!

That's how I got Gracie's Rapunzel custom. I love it but man was that an expensive itch!:lmao:

Revrob- I can't add anymore to my siggie line!!!! DANG! I've exceeded the size too many times and don't want to break the rules. But it's awesome! I hope more people add it to their siggie line. I can't even do a wish ribbon....not that I ever have one for more than 5 minutes!!! I lose 5 pounds one week and gain back 4 and a half!

OK, I had my first Hobby Lobby experience tonight!!!!   We had to drive to the outskirts of Salt Lake BUT....I swear I heard Harold Angels singing and a beacon of light shown on the building as we approached!!!! They released a hundred doves, I swear!

I LOVE that Santa and Leopard print! Which I didn't get YET. I scored 10 Simplicity patterns for 99 cents a piece. I focused on fall/winter type patterns. I got some good ones!

Two worth mentioning are #3943 and #8953 (Simplicity) Holy pouffy Princesses!!! I want these for ME!

Nobody out bid yeah and oh CR@P!!!

You can check out my treasure.

I am so disappointed not to see you guys go braless in this fabric! Think of all the attention you would get from characters then!
You know, I am sitting here cracking up, and my 15 year old son is asking, "WHAT is SOOOO funny???" I don't think I'll tell him!!!!

TJ!!!! Oh my HELK! Did you talk to the manager? I can't believe what you have to go through to get a pattern! : You'd think they'd hire someone who at least knows what a pattern IS for the fabric department! Maybe thats just me :upsidedow

Crazy, isn't it??? I went in today, to pick up som stuff for supper, and I couldn't help but go into the fabric department and ask, "Will you be getting some pattern books in soon?" The associate said, "Funny, we were just talking about that today." Hmmm, really???? :rotfl:
I just learned that we have a Hobby Lobby!!!!!! Me and Spongie are gonna tour this entity that we've been so jealous of. They have DISNEY fabric!

We're so there!

WOOO HOOOO!!!!! I really like Hobby Lobby. Although, lately their fabric selection isn't what it once was.

Good Evening to all of you creative people!

I couldn't even begin to respond to everything that has been posted on here!

Everyone's pictures have been very inspirational! I might have to "CAB" a couple of them!

Aimee, DD was the same way at preschool, totally didn't want to take a nap!

DD has so many clothes too! I guess after waiting SOOOO long for our little princess, we just kinda went NUTS!

It is so nice to see that many of you are adoptive parents!

After trying for so long to have a child with MANY failed fertility treatments, we just gave up! We decided to put it in God's hands.

Two weeks later we got a call about a BM that would like to meet us.

Long story short, 5 months later we welcomed the arrival of our little princess!
She came to us like a little angel from Heaven and we thank God every day for her!

She is my true inspiration to continue making her "special" outfits. She is so proud of them and tells everyone that she and her daddy made them!

I have a few days off of work, and with my princess in school, I just might be able to complete them.

Under one month until our vacation! I really need to get busy! Too bad that this "bolt" of Minnie dot won't magically turn into something overnight!
"Where oh where are those little mice when you need them!"
------>Hand 'em over Cinderella, and no one will get hurt!<-------;)

Aww, geesh, I'm all sniffly and teary eyed now.

In twelve days I'll just have to come back to my trashy dirty house, all because somebody bought all the red tulle in my town! Sheesh! How dare them...

THAT is HILARIOUS!!!! :rotfl2: (I am reading that so that it is in a Lilo voice in my head. That makes it even funnier!)

The school managed to lose HER! (Heart attack when you get a call from the school telling you they don't know where your child is:eek:   )

The office staff told me it was not their fault and the "system" did not break down
:grouphug: Oh no!! How awful! Something similar happened when Corey was in 2nd grade. I was waiting for him to get off the bus, but instead of stopping at our house, it just went on by. His bus ride was so long that by this time, there was NO ONE at the school when I called to find out where he was. I called the bus garage, and they had no idea where he was. It turns out that my SIL who was visiting decided to pick him up from school! They didn't get home until an hour after he was suppose to be dropped off. I was a mess! At the beginning of the year, the school has you sign this thing saying who can pick up your child, and go on and on about how no one else will be allowed to do it. But, when I called the school the next day, there response was, "Well, she seemed very nice, and Corey knew her." Well, Corey knows my crazy nutcase of a SIL too, (not the same one) BUT I wouldn't want him going anywhere with her! The school NEVER admitted they had actually done anything wrong, and refused to even apologize. My SIL on the other hand is STILL apologizing to me for it!

:scared1: And I thought I had a bad day when DD came home from school with heat exhaustion!
At least she made it home!
I am afraid that after my "meeting" with the principal I might make him cry too! (or at least "duck and cover";) )
Putting 21 kindergarteners in a classroom on the second floor of a brick building with 2 windows the size of a postage stamp and NO air conditioning does not seem like a wise thing!
Sending them outside 2 times for recess, and then having them come back into a HOT classroom doesn't make sense either!

-Did I mention that it was 95 degs. here today?

Of course he is quite comfortable sitting at his desk with the window a/c blasting!

O.k. my rant is over! Whew!

Bad things come in three, so you should be good for the rest of the night, or for the rest of the school year, for that matter!

GEESH! That is SOO wrong!!! I hope you little sweetheart is ok.

At our Super Wally World, we have issues too. Yesterday this other customer and I couldn't find a clerk in the fabric department for 15 min. There was a sign "ring bell for service" no bell....but there was a phone. Finally I picked up the phone and dialed the number for the manager and told him I needed help in the fabric department....he said, "Did you page a CSM?" I said, no, I am a customer and I need a CSM...dead silence...."Ok, I will get you someone." Well, a mentally challenged person came back, and that was ok with me, but I wanted 3 yards of fabric. Poor thing, she kept measuring and remeasuring....10 minutes later she started to hack up this fabric like she had a machete.....and it was 4 and 1/2 yards....oh, my....but she was sweet, just didn't know how to cut fabric or use that computerized machine they have.

Susan

Wow, that is really sad. The poor girl.

I can't sew or do anything you all talk about but I do admire the beautiful clothing you all create. Just wanted to say you all are so talented. Sometimes you need a pat on the back for no reason. So pat away you all so deserve it.

Aww, shucks! Thanks!

:snooty: I honestly have no idea what you could be laughing about.
:woohoo: I've nursed 2 kids and Teresa's nursed 3. I wonder what kind of attention we'd get!:lmao:

Oh HEATHER! did you forget allready????? I'm H O T!!! SSSSS!!!!

Seriously though, after having nursed kids for 7+ years, it would NOT be a pretty site! Good thing my husband is so much older than me, he doesn't see so well anymore!!! :rotfl:

See if this works- my first project ever :cool1: and I'm addicted! Thanks for the other posters of this outfit- it's cased!

She looked cute and loved the attention and getting to tell all that her mom made the dress and the bows! It was only open house, but now that that one's under my belt, I can start on other things.

The WISH ribbons don't count towards your signature size though, right? They are an official smiley type thing now.

Did you find the princess fabric Spongie was looking for??

I just had to share with you all a little something that happened at my brand spanking new Super Walmart.... I am a little slow, but I bet you guys have figured out what probably happned to those pattern books, haven't you? I bet that employee sold them!
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest!!!

First of all "poor girl" Secondly... :lmao: :lmao:

Stephres - What does your ds's shirt say in your sig pic?

Under one month until our vacation! I really need to get busy! Too bad that this "bolt" of Minnie dot won't magically turn into something overnight!
"Where oh where are those little mice when you need them!"
------>Hand 'em over Cinderella, and no one will get hurt!<-------;)

I thought you had the mice, Tom!!! ;) I can't wait to see what you make with your Minnie dot... no reason, just waiting :rolleyes1 .

Okay who in this friggin town bought all the shiny red tulle!

:music: TnMom25 bought the tulle from the fabric store... who me? Couldn't be, then who? Celerystalker bought the tulle from the fabric store... :music:

Seriously, the only thing I've bought from M'boro is princess toile from Hobby Lobby. I hope you find some!

She looked cute and loved the attention and getting to tell all that her mom made the dress and the bows! It was only open house, but now that that one's under my belt, I can start on other things.

th_IMGP0218.jpg

Good job April!!! My dd8 loves to tell people that her mom made her stuff too, she wore her Tink outfit today and was so proud of it. There's no stopping you now!

Alright, more feedback please. Here's a revision. I think I llike this better.

What do you guys think?

 it!! Can I use it now?

I think it's cute. It would make a cute clothing tag. Mine are pretty plain. They are white, with a black border and in Disney font, it says, Castle Creations for your little princess. That's it...:rotfl:

I was going to ask how you would make a tag, but I may have answered my own question. Today, I bought the fabric printer sheets and printed some HSM clips for dd's decoupage jeans. I guess you could print a page full of tags onto that stuff, huh?

BTW, for those of you that have made the decoupage jeans, I have a new respect for you! I started a pair today, and it took me about four hours to do just the front of both legs! Is there a trick to it? I'm stitching every single patch, isn't that what you're supposed to do?

okay since i forgot what i was gonna post individually ,:confused3 i will post for all
i love all the outfits posted for the last 6-7 pages.. :cutie:

Hi! Okay If anyone from the Hampton Roads Area is on this thread Please PM me! Reason is I was wondering if they would like to share expenses for a Road Trip to the one and ONLY Hobby Lobby in the entire state????? :lmao: The darn thing is 198 miles away! I have four Hancocks fabric stores within 20 miles of my home but only this one Hobby Lobby:confused3 :confused3 Nana
