OH I wish I had something. I go totally weak every time I go to the local boutiques. I'd been out of them for awhile because my boys no longer appreciate looking "cute". Now I have a baby girl and oh my have I lost my mind.![]()
Who did you order from? I keep looking at them and I always come back to the Kaiya Eve ones.(There's a couple others I like but the cost is not that much different and either they have a better photographer or I just like the looks of them better) Now if I could just commit to a colorPlease share what you chose and who did you order from..thanks.
I went to Hobby Lobby today and found these cute fabrics. I don't think I have ever seen the Princess one before. I didn't know how much I would need of each one so I just bought the whole bolt. I figure what I don't use I can sell!

I am making a patchwork twirl skirt. It's my first patchwork but my 4th twirl skirt. I'm wondering how I increase the twirl factor. Should I make each tier bigger? Right now I am doing a waistband at 20, tier 1 = 30, tier 2 = 45, tier 3 = 67ish. Should I make them bigger? Will that make it more twirly? I feel like they are not getting enough twirl factor on them with these measurements!
LOL! I need to play with it a bit. It doesn't do intricate cuts well - and may be expensive to keep sharp blades in - but it is pretty neat! Yes - I know those pg hormones - best to stay away from the scissors (at least keep your hair away from them)!Oh no no no no you did not just do this to me. Here I was happy I didn't need one of those because I do digital scrapbooking not paper. Oh well goodbye money. That is so cool your DD is doing LofL again. I did that last year after my pregnancy and I am sure I will do it again if we have another one. I won't cut my hair when I am PG because I think the hormones would make me get an ugly haircut. ha ha, I know I am a strange one.
She's pretty with short or long hair and even prettier on the inside which counts even more. What a sweetheart for donating her hair for other little girls that need it at such a bad time in their lives. I love children with lots of heart...Hi All!
I have been away from the computer most of the day - I need to play catch up! Sorry for all the pics - but I had to share. The first two are of DD two years ago when she donated her hair to Locks of Love - the next three are from today when she had another 11 inches cut to donate. This is the shortest it has ever been - and was a little bittersweet for both of us!

The cricut machine thingie has long been on my wish list.
For scrapbooking.
which I never get around to doing. Well, I finished my scrapbook for my 2005 trip.
but to know that it works on fabric!
argh!
you people are evil!![]()
What a great idea!!!!Not clothes, but here is a pillowcase we made for character autographs on our cruise. I'm planning on having them sign on the yellow part with a black marker. I thought it would make a cute souvenir for DD. Her name is on the other side in the same Disney font.

Too cool, I knew I bought this for a reason. Now I can justify the cost of the machine and "having" to get the Disney cartridges (that I have never used BTW)I can't wait to try this!!! Maybe tomorrow since it is supposed to rain all day again!
Since my Mom has my sewing machine I have been busy cutting away. I did DD's first day of school dress pattern, a halloweenie dress, and Meg!
Also, here are the fabrics for Hannah's preschool dress. It is the start to a strip work skirt. These are the yellow polkie dots from Jo Ann's

I don't know if anyone answered you or not, but I just took off my whole presser foot, from the screw, not just the clip. Then I just asked for help at Hancocks. They told me that the "high" type has a slant to it, so if your foot doesn't have a slant to it, then it is probably a "low" foot. Hope this kind of helps!
oh so I know my 6 year old anastasia loves tinkerbell. so I made this tutu for her. her school has free dress day at school on wed. she is excited to wear it to school!
