I finally finished an outfit!! It's hemmed, has ruffles AND has the coordinating jeans!! (Although I may still add something to the jeans, just don't know what?!) I have to add the buttons - wanted DD to try it on first!

We're not going, but this would be cute for MNSSHP! Just add an orange minnie applique on the bodice, some mini minnie heads on the jeans. I saw it like that on VOLDEMORT (yep this was CASEd) - it was going for BIN $100.

BTW - I think I'm going to add ruffles to all of the jeans DD has grown out of!! The double ruffle made these the perfect length!!

Very cute!! I copied a picture similar to that to my inspiration folder. Where did you find the fabric? Thank you!

(And woohoo! I can post pictures now. :))

Elisa,
I sent you a pm - I want to chat with you about a custom halloween :) :)

Well, I'm on my way home from WV and I've called the Hancocks on the way with no luck finding the Princess Toile. Oh well!

Karrierock - Do you know if the Hobby Lobby in M'boro has it?
.

Not to butt in ... but my Hobby Lobby still has the princess toile (the purple)... I'm in TN too.

This is adorable...where did you get the black/orange dot fabric?

Here is the Pirate Princess skirt. It is pretty simple. I have a more elaborate one planned for the Pirate Cruise. This is for my Dad's boat. I bought the chucks and shirt at Journey's kids. The hat came from a tourist shop.

Hannah is very excited.

I bought some at Jo Ann's and this upcoming Friday all Halloween will be 50% off along with $.99 Simplicity Patterns.

Ohhh...good to know!!! Any idea what other fabric will be on sale?
I got the orange/black minnie dot fabric at Joann's too.

I hope someone here can help me :)

A few hundred pages back someone pointed me in the direction of a boutique site that sold tee shirt dresses. I had seen the site before and didn’t bookmark it. I need the site. They had the best price on the polka dot pedoodles and my DD NEEDS a pair for fall. I am thinking it is something trunk? We all know how that goes... I have looked at about one million boutiques sites (not for ideas or anything:rolleyes1) and now that I want to actually buy something I can not find it.

Anyway- I would really appreciate it if anyone knows what I am talking about. I know I have not made any sense :)

Thanks for the heads up! I got my email from JoAnn's today but haven't looked at it yet! Looks like a trip to JoAnn's is in my near future.

Holy Monkey! Everyone's been so busy! Everyone here does such great work - I'm inspired every time I come here!

Loving all the Voldemort references! I just finished HP the other day, finally (that's where I've been the past few days, LOL!)

So yesterday and today I made some patchwork jeans and a corset top - first time doing the patchwork AND shirring! WooHoo! It wasn't bad at all, just time consuming. Anyway, now I can't wait for Halloween so DD can wear this!

A big shout-out to LisaZoe for the inspiration for both! Thanks!

Look what I made today not clothes, but a must if you are going to the parks. You guys all know your wipe container must matching your boutique clothing! :rotfl2: (Or every ride if you are Utahmama) I am going to add a bling Mickey head. I will post photos when I get that done!

I know if you go to joanns.com you can look at the sale flyers. They have an instore and online flyer.

I think the quilters showcase fabrics are $1.49 a yard and Halloween is 50% off. Interfacing is on sale too. I have to check because they have two sales. They overlap but the Halloween starts on Friday.

I am going to be at the door on Friday AM :rotfl2:

Aren't you in Franklin?

Ok, here's what I bought while in WV...

At a hole-in-the-wall fabric shop...

The Cinderella is for dd6's overalls and the Pooh is for ??? it was on clearance for $0.97 and I bought some Pooh toile, so maybe I'll use them together

From Walmart in Morgantown, WV...

Also for the Little Einsteins creation

I found the green & pink w/swirls that I thought would go well with the Mickey Swirl, what do you think?

Embroidered stickers... no idea what I'll use them for, but I have them "just in case"

Thank you so much. That was it  It was going to drive me crazy. It looks like she sells puddle jumpers not pedoodles... Sorry! Does anyone have any experience with either shoe? Do they run true to size and seem comfortable? Up until now DD had only wore stride rite. Although since joining this thread I have bought several pair of white keds to have custom painted. This thread is dangerous :)

Stepmom3- I love the wipe case. I will have to try one if you don't mind. Did you just use hot glue?

Thanks again.

Oh my! Look at all that awesome fabric! I love it all! Have fun with it!!

Your welcome. I have purchased tons of Puddle Jumpers for my daughter and she has only worn each pair one or 2 times. She says they hurt her heel but I know other kids who love them and wear them without socks. I personally love the look of them, that is why I have continued to buy them. I have the last pair I bought on that website (not a HP fan so I can't remember what name I am supposed to use:wizard: ) right now. They do run a size small so be sure to check measurements.
As far as the wipes case, feel free to CASE. I got the idea off of :wizard: (instead of that website :thumbsup2 )
Forgot to add I used E6000 glue. It will stick to anything!

How did you do that? Really cute!

Put a thin piece of batting on each side with E6000 glue. Covered it with fabric, trimmed it to the edge of the lip. Put trim around the edge to cover the edge of the fabric. This is right up my alley, I am not a sewer but I can copy almost any craft type project just by looking at it.
