Where did you get your cupcakes? That would make great birthday fabric!!

I am going to do a minnie dot skirt for me too. I just am waiting closer to our trip so I can shed a couple more pounds!!!

Sadly we don't have AC Moore's here. I probably have a coupon for JoAnn's or something it is just getting over there with Ds. He screams like I am torturing him through the entire store. (Dh says it is torture, ha ha)

The cupcake fabric I got at a little store a friend of mine just opened. I would guess a lot of quilting type stores might have it. It runs around $9-10 yard not bad if you just need a little bit. The designer is Martha Negley, you probably can find it online.

My Minnie skirt has LOTS of tulle so you can't tell if it is me or the tulle that is so large. :rotfl2:

Walmart has a really cute HSM tote for $10 if you don't have them at your store you can order them online and have them sent to your store...just sayin' ;)

AIMEE!!!! How could you even say such a thing!?!?:scared1: I don't know if I can talk to you anymore...I'll think about it.

All I can do is beg you to accept me for who I am. Yes, I hate Harry Potter! I would not read it if someone paid me. (I did see the first movie and I know it is not the same.) :rotfl2:

I guess I should just get it off my chest - I do not like Harry Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, Midevil times, or okay wait for it American Idol!

Please let me still be your friend. I know I am not the only one!:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Are you looking for a specific animal print? My Ben Franklin has a large fabric dept and several animal prints. I got a giraffe, white tiger, and a cheetah for DD's AK skirt. Of course, this is all quilting fabric so it's $8/yd but it's just gorgeous.

I'm glad I still have 2 months to go! My list of projects just keeps getting longer and longer.

Also, a DS funny. I was sewing a dress for my friend's DD, previous to that I made a skirt for DD and 4 other skirts for my friend's DD. DS was watching me sew this dress and asked if I could please make him a SKIRT, too! I said, no, I will be making him some Cars shorts next because girls wear skirts. He thought about it and replied that he'd rather have a "boy skirt" instead!

That is TOO FUNNY!!!! I couldv'e heard that from my son when he was younger....

I have a cheetah (though it's got two different tones so I think I'd change it if I found something else..I think it's the same one someone used for a shirred top or dress a couple pages back) and a tiger that is okay not FABULOUS. I'd like a giraffe and a zebra too. But right now, I'm not too picky since I can't find any anywhere...I guess I'll have to move my fabric search online...why that hasn't dawned on me till now (yes I REALLY did just think of that!! )I don't know.
Idiot!!! ...t.

Hey Utahmama-

I don't think I can get the strips out of the fat quarters cause I'm doing them spiral not straight strips...if all else fails I will have to alter my pattern...I'm not normally a "stay the course" kinda chic, more like "roll w/ the punches!!":rotfl:

Okay, one more thing until I really get to sewing.

Circut cartridges are $59 at AC Moore. I am not sure about Disney but I saw a big sign as we were leaving the store. Their sales start on Wed so it should run through next Tuesday.

OOOOHHHH Look what I got in the mail today! Not as good as Toms, but all 12 of these were 17.00 including shipping. Yep another Voldemort win!

Nope that is it! We are NOT friends!!!! I am okay with all that you said, but I'm sorry, YOU DON'T LIKE STAR WARS???? That is like not liking Disney in my opinion! Just ask my kids who was the crazy person who got them up at 11:45pm to see the 12:15 am show of the VERY last Star Wars EVER. They were the only kids in their school of 600 to go (I guess some people think being awake for school is more important than Star Wars??) We were on the radio and everything. I took pictures too. Yep S.W. geek!! Guess what my dogs name was growing up...Chewbacca!! And to tink I've never been to Disney at Star Wars time! My two favorite things. Sigh

Actually, I think that this is just another example of how mean parents can sometimes be to their kids! HOW could those people KEEP their kids away from it. They are the ones that are wrong! Besides what's one day of school...aren't there like 179 more?

I wanted to share the Minnie Mouse pillow case dress actually on DD - I know I shared it while on the hanger but here it is "live" Here's one with her and Minnie and one with Mickey (who was THE best mickey EVER!!!!)

:yoda: :yoda: "Fear is the path to the darkside. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." We will pray for you. To leave you friendless and astray would not be the Jedi way.

I have you guys beat!! Not only did Mac get to skip school but I let he and DH scam out of my hospital stay after I had been rear ended when I was 7 MONTHS PREGNANT and the accident sent me into regular contractions. Cause, hey..they're not doctors and we already had the tickets. Of course being UBERsensitive and hormonal I burst into tears when the 11:00 new was covering all the geeks standing in line. The nurse was all .."what's the matter dear" but was less sympathetic when she fount out the tears were shed at missing the Star Wars premier!!!:rotfl:
