Is DD in school yet or does she have another year? I saw your Sea World pictures. Your daughters look picture-perfect in your handiwork!!! I bet they turned a lot of heads! Here is the cupcake fabric I bought the other day (it is Martha Negley fabric) ok not Disney but, so cute I had to show you. I already made a little knitting bag out of the turqoise one.

Where did you get the cupcake fabric? There are gorgeous appliques, well iron on images, that are at Michaels that would match that perfectly!!

Yes Those are what I am searcing for, thank you. Do you now where I can find them? I was able to locate "Smiles around the world" on reprodepotfabrics but I can not seem to find the others.

HELP!!!! I am trying to figure out WITHOUT splitting seams on the jeans - how to get some patches on for DS - I found some really cute iron on puppy's and some puppy love and pawprint fabric to make the patches out of. Thought it would be cute as jeans and T-shirt for him and then a matching skirt and t-shirt for DD... I can sew on the jean skirt no problem - it's the jeans im confrused on!

UM - I was in Joann's with my son on tuesday he's asleep with head on the bar of the cart just coming from the Dr. he's got a double ear infection and had his shots. And I thought of you with your disguses when I saw a lady carrying around some disguise type glasses from the halloween stuff... took all I had not to giggle at her!

I wanted to share the Minnie Mouse pillow case dress actually on DD - I know I shared it while on the hanger but here it is "live" Here's one with her and Minnie and one with Mickey (who was THE best mickey EVER!!!!)

Thanks! I'm thankful I only have 4 "of my own" and 2-3 daycare kids when I go shopping. I reward my 2 boys with a pack of Poke mon cards if they are PERFECT angels. If not, no-soup-for-you!

I wonder if anyone will realize it was her humor NOT the pokemon cards that got her a brazillion hits! Those cards weren't worth what they sold for, i don't think!

Just curious, when doing the jeans, why isn't Heat N Bond recommended? It would keep the patches in place, and does make the fabric firmer. Is this not enough? I was thinking that it can be used for tees too right? Or do I need to use Heat N Bond, and stabilizer? Thanks!

I use HnB, but if you do, make sure you use Lite and not Ultra. Right now I have Emma's Donald Duck overalls in the washer, so we'll see how or IF the HnB softens.

My oldest dd wants a High School Music outfit to wear for her birthday (Oct 2).

and was planning on getting a red tshirt and black leggings.

Here is what I thought of: A skirt made out of the fabric. Use spray fabric paint (white) on the red shirt to add music notes on the red shirt. I will add wild cats on the back of the shirt the same way. On the front I have some shiny silver letters to put high school music on the front. I also have star shaped rhinestones to scatter on the shirt. The black leggings will be worn under the skirt and I might spray paint music notes on them too.

What so you think? What should I do different?

What a great idea for holding your plane tix and ID. MUCH better than my current method...my clenched teeth!!!! (hey, with both hands very full and busy, it's the only handy holder I have!)

I only have one right now and that is hard enough. The best part last year was trying to get an 11 month old to WALK through the scanner thingy. I am the oldest of 13 you would think 1 would be cake. (mmmm cake)

I am always the crazy looking lady sweating with the wild hair and the kid laying on the floor being dragged by one arm.

i'm a frequent lurker, infrequent poster. I love everyone's designs. This thread makes me have daughter envy so bad.

I wanted to post a few projects I finished recently. First is a Buzz Lightyear hoodie. Our next trip is in January and I thought it might be a little cool in the evenings. Also pictured is a coloring bag I made for DS's best friend. I have plenty of the Muppets fabric and embroidery designs. I'm making baby a Muppet hoodie next. Perfect for MGM right?

I'm not to the end so if someone has already answered, just disregard... Did you attatch the patches to the jeans with Heat-n-bond or something simillar before sewing? I would think that would prevent the puffiness. In any case, I think they came out great, just the right number of patches.

We'll be at the POP Sept. 2-9! My DD is 3! Tomorrow I leave for CKU-Nashville (Creating Keepsakes University). It's a three day "college" for scrapbookers, held at OpryLand Hotel, and I now have a 100.2 fever! Doesn't the timing stink! Well hopefully I'll be over it before we leave for Disney. I'm going to drug myself up, and hope for the best

I'm coing to copy your countdow, I just wrote the countdown in DS's school agenda last night, I'm waiting for him to notice the #'s in the corner of each day and ask. But we need an official one for the house, the thought of vacation is the only thing that gets me up in the AM.

I have a cousin who, when she was 5, wanted nothing else but to wear 3 ponytails to school. Her mom said that would be silly and wouldn't let her. She's 31 and still remembers that she wasn't allowed to have 3 ponytails, she told me "that's so stupid, why did it matter that it looked silly, I was 5- what harm could it have done???" She has mom issues anyway but holds a particular grudge against her for that.

1. well, I already had 3 tatoos, but always in safe easily covered places and they're pretty small except 1 which is only bigger, not exactly big in the tatoo world. I branched out to a bit more detailed larger one in a less easy to conceal one. The artist's wife warned me when I said I wanted one on my arm (which changed, b/c the design changed ) that I was entering a new social aspect. That while I was tatooed before noone knew and now I am visibly marked and people will view me differently. She said she views her tatoos (she's got a lot!!) as a filter, people that she doesn't want to talk to or know (anyone narrow minded enough to care that she chooses to have tatoos ) doesn't usually approach her anyway b/c of them. She said if she'd have known, she'd have got them when she was 8 I chose a swallow b/c on tomb stones way back when they used to use animals to represent certain aspects of a persons life and swallows were used to represent motherhood. I found a cool vintage painting ( another love of mine!!VINTAGE) and printed a copy out for the artist to replicate- It is SWEET!!!

Yes, I think blue toile would do in the face of not having purple so PM me!!!
