Wow. That's really clever! Don't you just love coming up with clever outifits! I would like to post some of the ones I have beeen making lately for a community kids' stuff sale, but they are not Disney. Just cute clothes.

I would love to see them too!

Here's DD's Pooh dress. She'll wear it to breakfast at Crystal Palace.

Pardon her sour face. She was so not into picture-taking this morning!

This is sooo cute. This is one of the styles I love best on my daughter for dressier wear. Looking at your darling little one is like looking at my baby girl a year or so from now. They could almost be twins!! It reminds me so much of the Beets n Snips boutique brand (one of my favorites before they went out of business late last year). VERY nice work!

Hey. I really like this. I may copy for my DD7, but I have one question: Is the jumper lined in white? or is that a white edging you applied to the polka-dot skirt? Just wondered. Either way would be cute.

For those of us not quite as skilled as CastleCreations at just eyeballing a dress and whipping up our own pattern, I know of an exact pattern available of her latest and greatest and I'd be happy to share. I'd have to go look up the name so pm me if you want it.

you know hawaiian themed w/ mickey is hard to find. Here is an outfit I pulled out of the suitcase to take a picture for you. I made this for the lilo and stitch breakfast at the Poly. We have the breakfast next friday! My oldest (6) has a tutu skirt set, but she is almost just too h\old for that stly. but you could do a fun shorts set with this fabric. it is easy to find right now.

Okay ladies, which one do you think? I have spent tons of time searching, and this is all I have found. Neither is an exact match:confused3

Camping Griswalds,

Would you mind telling me where I can get the second fabric? I have looked everywhere for that!
Thanks!

Goodness, I love pinafores! Classic toile, I love it!! Beautiful job!

For those looking for easy no sew outfits, I was at Kmart last night and they had in the girls section tanks tops with sequined Minnie, Mickey, tink or Ariel on them. They also had HSM shirts for the tweens. I almost picked up a long sleeve black and pink pirate skull shirt as well, we'll be there when it is hot and long sleeves wouldn't work.

designmom[/B], I'm really digging the pooh skirt, which instructions did you use?

Thanks! I basically used these instructions: http://sew-whats-new.com/CMS/content/view/211/46/ but it's not patchwork instructions and I screwed it up (forgot to leave extra seam allowance for the hem) so I had to sort of wing it. (I used bias tape for the bottom. I saw one on e-bay that did that.) But I'm pretty happy with the way it came out.

If anyone has a moment go look up "Custom Boutique Classic Pooh" in the clothing section. it is really adorable and a twist on the pooh design. my 3 year old loves my friends tigger and pooh on saturdays.

That's really cute. I *love* classic pooh. If I thought I could applique it, I'd make Classic Pooh jeans for myself. I love him *that* much. (The books, of course, are my favorite.) ;)

Thank-you! Thank-you! Thank-you! I just ordered a whole yard for that price! What a splurge!:cool1:

Now onto a new mission. Anyone know how to get designer fabrics? http://www.treehouseinteriors.com/detail.asp?id=298
This print is awesome. I've only found it overseas so far and shipping is way out there

I found a website that has alot of the fabrics that Ebay sellers use. It's
jcaroline creative dot com. Then there's yummy fabrics dot com. I love both of these.

I found a really cute, different set on ebay. Search under Minnie Clubhouse. I love that it's so Minnie but not the traditional red & white polka dot. I'd totally buy this one if I didn't already have too many Minnie sets.

P.S. I am so excited!!! Just found out yesterday I am pg with baby #4!!! Now I'm really watching all those little kid sets again. :)

Could you please point me in the direction of the Todd World fabric (first one):) DS4 loves that show. Is it maybe a sheet?

I really love the faces material, and the greetings fabric is nice too. I am not a big fan of the two together though. They both will make wonderful outfits.

Travelingal- I really love the second fabric with the faces, but I have to admit it doesn't blend well with your colorful words fabric. I'm not crazy about the first fabric...

Design_Mom- I love the twirl! It's fabulous! You did a beautiful job. I love those Classic Pooh colors. Do you have any thoughts about an applique on the T? Eve if you just made it a ribbon T with ribbons in those colors? I was thinking a honey jar with a little flower and bee would be precious, too...

TnMom25- I LOVE your idea of the Elvis fabric for the Lilo and Stitch breakfast! What a hoot!

Esab4- I love that tween top. I am actually thinking about doing one for MYSELF now!! I have jeans that I plan to crop into capris and embellish withe the Minnie dot fabric. That top would make it perfect!

You guys are so inspiring. I am so glad I found this thread. I thought I was the only one really nutty about having all themed and custom stuff for the trip! I have to admit, I am having a tough time keeping up with reading all your posts! I still have some of the early ones to catch up on!

Keep up the great pictures!

J Caroline also has great ribbon! That's where I always find ribbon to match specific colors in an outfit and also great holiday ribbon. You can purchase ribbon by the yard and they ship quickly.

yeah this is a coordinating fabric from the elvis collection. I made a tutu skirt for my 6 year old out fo the same fabric with a peasant top and a lilo appliqued on it! They are going to be adorable.

What do you mean by a tutu skirt with the same Hawaiian fabric? When I think of a tutu, I think of tulle.....:confused3

That fabric is SO cute! We are going to Ohana's for breakfast the morning we leave WDW :sad1: and I think it would be cute, except we would look crazy flying back in to Cleveland on December 29th in the snow wearing those clothes!!: lmao:

Once big DD saw little DD's Nemo outfit she of course wanted one.. It took me a couple of days but I learned how to make a pair of shorts, got better at making waistbands, learned how to make the top bigger etc.. I am pretty pleased with the results.. Now I have to make hair bows to match!

We are going to Ohana for breakfast on our last morning also!! I bought this today along with some matching yellow and light blue to make skirts for the girls. I have to be sneaky though, they don't know we're going! They're getting a surprise invitation from Lilo & Stitch the day before ;) !

Do you think it matches this ok? This was made by someone on the Creative DISign board. I have one for each of the girls that I'm going to put onto shirts for them. I was thinking a yellow shirt, then thought maybe white, but now that I bought yellow fabric for the skirts, I think it will look good. Opinions?
