Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes Part 2

DH just handed me reservations for Port Orleans French Quarter!!! FOR SATURDAY!!!! I am sooooooo excited!!!! BUT DD does not have enough customs!!! I KNEW I was going in Sept. . . so i was takoing my time!! Well. . she has a couple!!! We are leaving out Friday am and are going to stop by Wild Adventures water park on our way (we already have year passes for that)

I was looking through the photobucket link and to my surprise I saw the autograph book I made. I cannot find who posted it in the 6000 posts but, if it was you how did you like it? Did it turn out okay?

Second question does anyone have the mickey head graphic they can share with me so I can try some applique? TIA!

Thanks for all the lovely comments on my first dress (it was the cute-skull corset dress). I'm still way behind on the thread because I've been sewing. I attempted a tulle skirt but didn't care for how it turned out. I've looked at the photos from those of you who posted and read tips and am ready to try again

In the meantime, I've finished a Pooh dress for my youngest. It gave me loads of trouble, but I do like how it looks on her. Thanks for letting me share.

Oh you all have been very busy! I love all the new stuff. I started a skirt but haven't been working on it because one of ac units isn't working and it's hot in the nursery. I can't close the door while Gracie sleeps and the machine is set up on the dining room table - directly across from the nursery.

Also, I've been very busy getting everything set up for school to start on July 30. Hopefully those preparations will be done by Friday, then I have a b/day party for my youngest son on Saturday.

Then... I hope to be working on the skirt again.

The Jojo set is on the way from Dena and I love the pictures I've seen of it. I will post pictures as soon as it arrives.

Keep up the good work... you gals are talented!

Anyway. My DD turns 1 on Friday so I am seriously to busy to be plotting this stuff out, but here I am . So hopefully before the month is over I will have my sewing machine out and have something to show off.

My DS just turned one today!!!! We will be having his party this weekend also. I shouldn't be wasting my time hanging out on the DIS, I have plenty of cleaning and party preparations to take care of. I am seriously addicted though and can't go to bed without catching up for the day! If I don't catch up for the day then I could be 20 or 30 pages down by the next day!!!!

Thanks so much. Honestly we do not know what is going on. They think she is having pedi mal seizures. They are less severe but still scary as can be! We living pretty close to Baltimore and D.C. so we have great hospitals. We are just waiting to be seen. She has to have some testing done but because of her age she has to be sedated.

The good news is everyone has told us she should grow out of all this. That is my hope. She is the sweetest little baby. My DD3 is very high matienance. It is nice to have a break with the little one. The baby has just been spending extra time with Mommy.

Thanks so much for your concern. It is funny because I do not technically know how to sew. I love to sew. I just was never taught the proper methods. It has been very theraputic for me. My DH has had to work at night for the last couple weeks. (He is a project manager.) I have really enjoyed sewing in the evenings when the house is quiet.

I took the girls to JoAnne's yesterday and I was conned into making matching Dorothy costumes for the girls! They are too funny. My DD is three and managed to pull that off!

Oh how scary that must be for you all. I hope all goes well and you have a great time enjoying your DD 1st birthday with your family. I will keep you in my thoughts!

I can't take credit for this one! Got it off ebay! Thanks anyway! I did redo the straps around the neck and spent 30 minutes clipping threads off, that they didn't!
