That doesn't help as I always get here by my user cp and that option is not in the cp...Oh well, just keeps me on my toes...

When I go to my user CP, I have the option of just clicking on the name of the thread, and not the link that says, "last page". If you click on the name of the post, you will have the option of clicking on "View First Unread"

HELP!!!! Can someone point me to the directions for a triangular halter top? Do I need to make it like a pillowcase dress or is there a better way? I had an epiphany on an outfit !!!
Thanks
Jen
I have some halter directions on the bookmark site. I think there is one for a bandana type top, you could modify that for regular fabric. (link in siggy)
I may have some, I will look into it!OT - but still a sewing question...
Anyone know where I can get free patterns for doll clothes? Someone just gave DS a boy Cabbage Patch Kid, but he's nekkid!!!
He was really stinky (was from a smoking home...yuck) so I threw him in a pillowcase and washed him. So, he's much better to be around now. LOL But we need something for him to wear ASAP!!
The searches I did only yielded barbie/action figure patterns - and, obviously, those won't fit a CP Kid.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
I'll even make him a Disney outfit, IF I can find a pattern for pants and a top!
Edited to Add: I just had a thought. I have some premie pajama patterns on the site, those would probably fit a Cabbage Patch Kid.
I did a little too much fabric shopping this last week (especially since I have grad school finals next week that I should be focusing on) but I found a couple of great deals that I am just so excited about...
Yesterday I was near a Hobby Lobby I don't usually go to, stopped in and found the princess purple toile fabric for $2.00 a yard. Then this morning I went to a different Wal-Mart than usual and found the Winnie the Pooh blue toile for $2.00 a yard.
Now I just need the time to finish all of my existing projects and start the new ones...
Now, why did you have to go and tell me that??? I may have to run to all the Hobby Lobby's around looking for that!
I APPLIQUED!!![]()

It's not great, but I'm going to post a picture anyway. This is the first time I've tried to applique. I was pretty pleased that it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I think it looked better before I tried to go around Nemo. Black thread would have looked better, too. But, it was a learning experience. The model is my incredibly sweet 1 year old son, Sawyer.![]()

OHHH!!! He looks too old!!!! Stop it with letting him get bigger! You sure did a good job on your first applique! And, Sawyer looks ADORABLE!!!! (That's my baby nephew! I cut the cord when he was born!)
I know you can get doll clothes patterns for 18 inch dolls (think American Girl). But I don't know where.
I have some bookmarked, I will try to find them and add them to the bookmark site.
I guess Al Pacino doesn't have much to do with it.He does this thing in "Meet the Fockers" where he points to his eyes with his first and middle finger, then points with his pointer finger at someone. It was decided this was the official Diser greeting. I just love this place!
In honor of your question, I have updated my signature! Behold- the lime green Mickey head family.
My sister is a dork, but I love her.
And, I must admit, I almost died laughing to see the lime green Mickey ears on everyone's head!
