Any recommendations on kids CS meals that will NOT fill up an adult? It is often recommended to get a kids meal as there will be plenty of food & keep you from 'super sizing' your diet.

I had eaten quite a few kids meals one of the last trips & I don't really remember any problems except the CS outside of China. I think I ordered the S & S Chicken & it has one, maybe 2 nuggets on it. I was still starving when I got done.

Any other recommendations to avoid, or what are your favorites?

Eww... sorry, but I would rather split an adult meal with a kid or another adult than eat a kid's meal by myself.

Although my kids don't seem to mind I would be so sick of pizza, burgers, pasta, and chicken nuggets I would just opt to not eat the rest of the trip.

Even a side salad with another side item would have to better than eating like that, wouldn't it? :confused3

Unfortunately my kid is 18, her boyfriend is 20 & my normal 'bottomless pit' that can finish my adult meals (son) is not coming this trip. I think DD's boyfriend feels a bit freaky about sharing a meal with me LOL & DD never eats the same thing I do. :lmao:

Got it! Well, have you tried a couple side items instead to switch it up sometimes? I just seriously couldn't eat like that unless it was once or twice a week.

I'm sure you save a lot of money and calories though!

Most of the kids meal items are fine and I find they fill me up- especially when they offer a children's size of the adult offerings however I would never order the kids chicken nuggets- they used to be good but they changed over to some that are horrible and I wouldn't eat them even if it meant tossing half of an adult order. You can normally order just a burger or main dish without the sides (although not at Flame Tree last I asked). The adulkt chicken nuggets are real chicken and not just pressed nugget things so that is fine but the kids even from places that have the adult ones are awful.

I didn't know an adult could order a kid's meal  Do they charge more if an adult orders a kid's meal? (Don't know why they should, since that would be kinda unfair)

I wonder if they do half servings

The ones that did not work for our family were at what is now Tortuga Tavern which has since changed its kids meals a bit but was one cheese quesadilla (tiny) or one taco and anything labeled peanut butter and jelly sandwich. It is an Uncrustable.

Hope that helps a bit. :)

I don't have any advice for you but I am impressed that you can feel full after eating a kid's CS meal. We think they are so small we don't even order them for our kids. My kids are 10 and 12 and both have been eating adults CS meals for a couple years.

I agree with the previous poster who mentioned uncrustables, and the cheese pizzas are both not very good and quite small. I'm a light eater and we usually eat at TS locations where I order an appetizer for my entree OR I share an entree with our oldest son. But for CS, my favorite kid's meal is the Hurricane Hanna kid's meal with a burger at the Beach Club - yum! Another good option is the teriyaki chicken at Yakatori House in Epcot.
