If you are staying onsite at a value, but say you have PS for V & A at the Grand Floridian,Can you use the kids club there to watch your child as you eat? I know you have to pay for it..I just want to know if this can be done.

Call ahead and make arrangements, you should have no problems. I think there is a minimum 2 hour stay.

I thought you needed to be a guest at the GF to use their kids club? I used the number for dining reservation for the kids club.

If you can't use the club at the GF, consider the Neverland Club at the Poly --- you can get there on the monorail.

If you are a Disney Resort guest, you can use the kid's clubs. I do believe the GF is the lone exception. I have also heard that you must be a GF guest to use it. I believe this is because it is very small. So small, in fact, that even if I *WAS* a GF guest, I think I would prefer to take my child to the Neverland Club at the Poly, as justcruisin suggested. I have usually gotten into the kid's clubs at the last minute, but if you know the date and time, you should make a reservation.

Have a nice dinner at V&A. I still have not dined there, but I am hinting to my DH that our anniversary is coming up! :lovestruc

You do NOT have to be a resort guest at all to use any of the kid's clubs. We were initially staying offsite in 2003 and had arrangements for both Simba's and NLC. We did wind up staying onsite (thanks, Kellogg's! ;)), but even so, had no problems making the arrangements when we were offsite.

My DDs vote for the NLC themselves!

Thanks for the post, greygables! I did not know the kid's clubs are available to off site guests! Cool! :cool1:

This past May we stayed at the All Stars and reserved a spot at the GF Mouseketeer Club for our son while we ate at Citricos. They gave us a pager in case of emergency and we picked what he had for dinner before we left for ours. He loved it and wasn't really ready to leave when we returned 2 hours later. It is a fairly small room, but has plenty to do; movies, video games, loads of toys. Due to the limited space, call and reserve as early as possible, just in case.
