Kids club for dinner

I am not sure if i am putting this in the right place, but we are traveling with a 1yr old and 4 yr old. We where thinking of going to dinner at the Grand Floridan @ Narcoossee's and was wondering if there was something fun at this hotel for our 4 yr old while we eat a nice dinner. We are staying at the Poly.

They do have a kid's club at the GF, for age 4 (potty trained) and up: http://allearsnet.com/pl/childfaq.htm

Depending on the time you chose for Narcoossee's that could be fun for them. We took our 5yo and he loved the Electric Water parade that went by shortly after 9pm. We also stayed long enough to head out to the deck to see and hear Wishes. There were plenty of children there.

Prior to the meal you could tour GF, it is beautiful and the lobby is grand. We came over on the water launch from MK and that in and of itself was a fun experience. The launch dock is right next to Narcoossee's, very convenient.

We paid OOP for our child meal. We had overbooked a buffet so we used his credit there. We spent $10 for his pasta meal and tip at Narcoossee's.

If you simply want a meal off from the 4yo, then certainly go with the kids club. But definitely don't think you shouldn't take them to Narcoossee's or that it will be too stuffy, definitely not the case.

I had to laugh at your description. I was just thinking the same thing about my 4 yr old.. although "goofy" is a much nicer word than the one in my head
My little guy is fabulous.. but eats really quickly.. fills up fast and then is bored and is ready to go after ten minutes. I love him to pieces.. but he's not the best company on a dinner date

So if the meal isn't timed to "entertain" him with the parade or Wishes, kids club it should be.

I agree completely. I am just few days out from my ADR;s and trying really hard to take into consideration that he's a kid and a long drawn out dinner isn't fair to him. But if he had something to watch like Wishes then he would be really happy

We took my son (7) to the Mouseketeer Club at the GF while we ate dinner at Narcoossee's and WHAT A LET DOWN it was for him after having been at the Neverland Club the year before.

The MC is just a (approx.) 20 X 12 room with video rockers, TVs and some tables. The people there were very nice and my son was well cared for but as far as kid's clubs go, the Neverland Club trumps the MC any day.

If you are staying at the Poly take your son to the Neverland Club before you head over to the GF. He will have dinner, play games, watch movies, do crafts and have a wonderful time. My son loved it! (I think he liked it better than the pirate cruise!)
