Kid's character bedding in staterooms

I have been watching some youtube videos and saw two families where in one video, the girls had Frozen bedding on their single beds and another where the boys had something else..

Do parents bring these, do kids automatically get this from Disney, or is this some upcharge thing?
I googled and cannot find anything....

This is a "Magical Moment" that your room steward may or may not do for your child. Our room steward put princess sheets on for our DD on one of our cruises. She loved it.

We were in concierge on our last cruise on the Dream and our room steward put Frozen sheets on our DD's bed also and she was so happy!! It was a nice surprise.

We just got off the Dream and our stateroom host said he was going to do something special for our son. We came back one night and he had put The Good Dinosaur sheets on the beds for DS. He made some swans for us.

On the Wonder the stateroom attendant put princess sheets on the bed for dd. We sailed on the Fantasy earlier this year and the attendant didn't put different sheets on dd's bed.

Our DDs got princess sheets a few nights into our Fantasy cruise last year. They did not receive them on our Wonder cruise the year before.

It's just random. Out of 6 cruises with the kids, we only got character sheets once, and it was not one of the 4 sailings that we were in concierge. It was when we were in an inside stateroom.

Our room steward put frozen sheets on my daughters bed on our cruise in May. She was not amusing but did appreciate it. She(11 yr old) is not that into the characters anymore but we cruise Disney for the service and cleanliness.

5 cruises for our grandkids and they have never been given special sheets, maybe next time.
It's a cute surprise though.

I think you can ask your room steward for special kids' sheets if he/she doesn't put them on. Now, about the adults...Steamboat Willie sheets???

My daughter got Princess sheets on our cruise and the boys traveling with us got cars sheets. Totally up to the steward. We did not ask. Just a happy surprise one day!

We got it once as an extra special pixie dust thing. Our understanding was that certain hosts were picked certain days and they then got to pick a family to pixie dust. I really hope people don’t start asking for it (or worse complaining to guest services when they don’t get it). Disney’s response is usually just to stop doing it.

This is how we understand it too. It's a completely random 'pixie dust' and only a few are on each sailing/floor. Our daughters got princess sheets a few years back and it was something special - they really bonded with our host on the Fantasy - Donovan. He was wonderful and the girls will never forget him.

It's not something you ask for....it just happens.
