Hello,

I notice Shula's doesn't have a Childrens menu. Is it okay to bring kids here? My daughter (6 when we visit) loves steak and I think she would enjoy it but am a bit worried she might not be welcome? I understand she can go to the kids club for free is this a better option? Any experiences with this?

Thanks :)

They're certainly allowed--we saw several couples with kids there on our last visit--but it's quite quiet and businesslike. I think if she eats her steak quietly she'd be just fine lol.

If they're good kids there is never a problem. If they expect Mickey then this isn't the place for them. Note: I had one child who we always took everywhere and one that we couldn't.

There are a lot of mixed opinions about bringing children to Shula's, and varying reports on how children are regarded by the restaurant's staff. Click here for just one recent thread about it.

It is allowed but not encouraged. There is a children's menu, but you have to ask for it, as it will not be offered automatically.

But I repeat, if your kids are well behaved little people they will not only be accepted but also treated very well by the staff.

Thanks very much for the advice and link to the other thread. She is well behaved and we eat out regularly. I think I'll play in by ear, at least there is the option of booking the Dolphin Kids Club.

We were just at Shula's with our 2 1/2 year old grandson and we all had a great time. We have taken him there since he was a baby and we have never had any problems, especially with the servers. They brought out his drink right away and served us bread as soon as we sat down. As long as your child is well-behaved and quiet, they will be welcome at Shula's. We brought an iPad with us and a lollipop to ensure we had a great meal.

And I would disagree with the person that stated "it is allowed but not encouraged". Please - it's a steakhouse in a Disney hotel. Of course they know to expect children.
