Do they even have a children's menu? Is it too stuffy for kids?

Thanks!

There is no children's menu there. They will not make special requests for children either. Make sure there is something on the menu your children will eat.

I'm not sure of the age of your kids, but as long as they have a good appetite it will be fine. Service can take a long time though.

It really depends on your children. Some kids can tolerate a leisurely dinner and some can't. I have taken my grandchildren to the Bistro and they were fine, but they are used to dining in settings such as this.

1) Bistro leans for adult dining.
2) Thus, no kids' menu or kids' items.
3) I think it is a fine idea.
4) Adults do need a place removed and quiet.

PS - Bistro is only one of five sit down eateries we visit while at WDW, and three of those are not even owned by Disney.

I'd say go for it. The food's awesome! As far as being too stuffy for kids? Well the place ain't Chef Mickey's if that's what you're wondering! For the record, we've taken our 2 year old there and saw many kids of all ages eating without incident. It's Disney, you couldn't escape the presence of kids if you tried!

When we dined there two years ago we left our kids in the Sandcastle club as it was out anniversary and we wanted one meal on our own. There were quite a few kids and I saw a lot of them with pasta dishes that weren't on the menu so I guess they do make some exceptions, We didn't find it stuffy at all and it was a little loud in there as they had some larger parties and voices carried

We eat at Bistro every trip. Have never experienced a loud dining experience. Have not seen many children here. Service is leisurely, this is a place for many adult only groups to go and relax. Most of the tables are small, for two people and it's a perfect evening for couples.

Just out of curiosity - what are the other four?

Thanks. Our idea was not to impose our kids on adults in a more adult atmosphere. I was actually concerned about taking my kids to Chefs de France until I got reassurance that it is okay there. I just wanted to make sure I was correct that BdP is a more adult atmosphere.

I will be making an ADR at BdP just for my dh to have a nice, quiet meal alone away from myself and our noisy bunch. We're giving each other a special treat of time to ourselves while at WDW.
