Well the wait is almost over.
We got our plane tickets last May (using points), and decided that we would give the trip to WDW to the kids for Christmas. I have seen other posts on this site giving the pros and cons of surpising your kids versus telling them up front.
I feel our plan is the best of both worlds. It's great to see the look on their faces when they realize they are going to WDW, but (to me) one of the best parts of the trip is planning.
So we will get to see their excited faces on Christmas day, AND they get to look at all the Disney websites for the next 5 months and try to decide what they want to do when they get there. PERFECT!
