Kids and eating with the Club

When kids chose to eat dinner with the club, where do they eat? Do they get food from one of the dining rooms or what?

One side of the buffet is set up for a kid's dinner only...the counselors take the kids there and that's where they eat. Kid-friendly foods and a buffet selection.

I also think the kids eat earlier than the rest of the buffet crowd. We cruised last March and the kids ate with the Club once. They didn't really talk much about it.

It seems like I saw on the boards recently that the meal time protocol in the Club has changed. Can anyone attest to that?

The 3-4 yo group eats in the club. We last cruised 12/04.

We just got back 3/17, and my DD said she was at Topsiders buffet. They had already put their food out for them, so they didn't have all those little ones walking around with trays.

She loved it, and told me some of the things she ate - which she normally doesn't eat - so I thought it was great.

I only had her eat there once - so maybe they don't do this every night?

Just cruised last week, and according to the Navigators the 5-7's and 8-9's always ate out, either at Animator's Palate or Topsider's for lunch and Topsider's for dinner. Only our 6 year old went for one lunch, and it sounded like they made up trays ahead of time for each child with an assortment of items that were available that day on the kids' line of the Topsiders' lunch buffet (it was a sea day, I don't know if port days would differ)

We just got back, Son in 5-7 and Daughter and 3-4 groups. They ate in the clubs 5 or 6 times and everytime it was up at topsiders. They would bring the made up trays to the kids. I did see the older groups up there when I would be checking ours in or out, they would be getting their own food with the help of the counselers
