I read somewhere about all the different things for kids to do at Epcot like baking cookies and making candy, but can't remember where I found it.

Could you fill me in on some of these things?

Thanks

The candy lady ( she has a real name, I just dont know it) is in Japan. SHe will be listed on the time schedule for shows and attractions you can pick up in the park. She makes lollipops out of balls of sugar. She will make any animal you want and she makes them in about a minute. Its amazing. My DD's have been lucky to get lollipops twice.

We have also done the cookie baking. Its inside the land, down in the food court ( this was closed the last time or 2 we were there) Its sponsered by Nestle I believe. You get a chefs hat and the kids get to take turns adding ingrediants and helping to make the cookies. They magically bake in a minute and when the CM comes back from the oven.. she hands each child 2 chocolate chips cookies in a little bag.

There is also the kid cot stations in each country. Thats where the kids work on their masks. They can pick up a blank mask in ANY country and stop and get it stamped and decorated in every country.

I would like to know too!!! I heard something about a passport anyone know anything?

The passport looks like a real one. It has stickers for each country, and the CM in each will stamp it, and write something in their native language. It's pretty cute, and we did it last time. I think this time I'm going to have them sign the journals they usually have to keep for school.

I am curious where in Japan is the candy lady. I always seem to miss her?

They also have kidcot stops in the future world pavillion. I think there was only 3 of them ( TT, The Land and Living Seas). The Seas is closed right now nut its still fun to do.

ISYT-
She sets up a stand right outside of Japan. You never had to go back in the country. She was always right at the start of the country before you walk back to get to the stores. If you are standing there looking at Japan, that really tall building is on the right. She stands by the building to the right.

You can get a mask in any country at the kidcot stops. The "passports" are sold in the gift shops for about $10 I think!! Most of the kidcot stops are in the gift shops toward the back. they are alot of fun!

Hey Addicted2Disney thanks for the info I am really going to try not to miss her this trip!!!!

Oh, I love the candy lady. We were there last week, and although I am 33, I was asked first what kind of candy I wanted (I think she normally asks the first person, ie, kid, waiting for her, which I was that day). I got a pink flamingo. I have been driving DH crazy all week imitating her. She is very funny and a must see!
