I'm sure you're right. I never want him to fight it though. No structure is ever worth a life. But that's the profession he chose so I'm always aware of the risks involved. He's smart, knows fire, and his dept is very proactive.
Plastic fires are so bad. They have several safety measure in place but I know just how bad it could be. When the plant had an actual fire last year people weren't evacuating because they thought it was a drill. They got the fire out and there was no real damage but still. When the quality control manager came out he tried to step up and take over. Scotty told him no, that if this had been a "real" fire he would be dead. That dead people cannot talk. It's crazy.
