If I go in October, I'll make sure our dates overlap. I thought about going Columbus Day weekend, but the airfare from NYC is usually high that weekend. I'm thinking of taking off a day from school and going later in October.

I'm pricing the Premium passes as well. We are planning a Disneyland trip (maybe 2) and at least 2 trips WDW if we don't go in October. I'm thinking the premium pass might come out cheaper, even though it's a lot of $$$ up front.

Take a day off! The airfare is always nuts over a holiday weekend. We saved over $70 per flight because we're flying on Thanksgiving morning vs the day before. And we get to miss the crazy Thanksgiving Day airport madness.

When are Jenna and her squad thinking of going? Would be so sad if I manage to go to WDW and then miss her...but then again if we don't manage Disney we're heading to NYC for the first couple of week in July so maybe could arrange a wee girlie day oot in the big city...how d'ya feel about a solo trip to NYC Toots ?

How much will your Premium passes work out to be?

The Premium Passes are $749 per person. I wonder if DVC gets a discount??? We save $100 on WDW passes and $20 on Disneyland; wonder if we save $120? I'm going to ask on the DVC board. I want to get the TiW card for our WDW trip so need at least one adult AP.

Jenna is thinking about the only weekend we'll be there I believe. We arrive on a Sunday and leave the following Friday so that leaves the weekend of the October 19-21. She's very responsible when it comes to pulling the kids from school unlike moi.

It's exciting and pathetic at the same time. I think I began at over 500. I'm going to go back and look.

Did you change your dates at one time maybe. I don't remember it but maybe?


He is much better. One on the pipes to our hot water heater sprung a leak and he does real well under pressure. He shines in those moments. Also I appealed to his better nature. His hair is below his shoulders and although I am not a big fan I let him express himself that way because I figure that is the least of my battles. Scotty on the other hand nags him constantly. Well, there is going to be a local locks for love event and I asked him if he is interested. My mom is a cancer survivor and one of my dear friends has colon cancer so this is a big thing to me. He has decided that he will do this. I am so proud of him. Also told him that girls are going to love it!!

I'll book at AKV with my points at 11 months, but may try to change to BCV or BWV at the 7 month mark. I'm also trying to figure out August. I booked 5 nights at AKV and 6 nights at BLT, but want to add 2-3 nights on at the beginning.

The cruise is out for now. It was Chloe's choice. She could either take her BFF on our trip next October or add the cruise and take off a few WDW days. She chose her BFF. G-d I love her. So loyal.

Today was a proud mama moment for me. Loren's hair has been long and something he has really taken pride in. At our local community college they had a Locks of Love event and Loren got his haircut. He gave six inches of his hair. They loved him in there. They even took his picture and interviewed him for the school paper. He hasn't wanted his hair touched for years. He looks great and best of all he feels great.
