Really? Do tell......
I am so interested in possibly adding one to the end of Chloe's bat mitzvah trip and knocking off those days at the park.
It's a VERY slim possibilty. It's a lot of money to spend for 3 nights that's for sure. It would replace 3-5 nights at WDW on the tail end of Chloe's bat mitzvah trip.
Before we had DS7, we went on a
Disney cruise each year. We have only gone once in the last 7 years and I miss it!!! From the moment you are greeted as you enter the ship until you disembark, you are fully submersed in an extravagant Disney experience. The kid's activities are incredibly fun. The cast off party is great! The theme nights are better than
MNSSHP or
MVMCP! The dining is incredible. Each dining room is a totally different dining experience.
If I were to go again, I would book a verandah room again. The lower category rooms are very small and closed feeling. Having the balcony felt like it gave me so much more space, even though the room dimensions were probably the same.
The bathrooms are super small. I mean SMALL!! Especially the shower. The shows are really nice.
Be prepared for the ending costs to be way more than you anticipate. They sell so many cool things and it's so easy to sign your life away, lol.
My oldest would have ditched us the entire cruise. He loved the kid's activities. And Vivian from Brazil remembered him from the soccer game at Millenium Village when she worked there in 2000, so she made so much more magic happen for him!! Our rule was that he had to do excursions with us and had to eat dinner with us. The rest of the cruise he was at the kid's club as soon as he woke up and wouldn't return to us until they closed down. He really wants to go on another as a graduation present this spring.
Since he didn't want to hang with us, we took full advantage of the different activities for adults. We went to cooking demonstrations, stage tours, etc. On one of the stage tours we recognized one of the dancers from Hershey Park was part of the cast onboard the cruise. Once we mentioned something, she arranged for us to meet up with her, and she made character meet and greets all the more magical. Also casually winked and nodded to us at the shows once she'd spot where we were sitting.
Aww man!!! Now I want to go on a cruise!!!
