Kidd's Kids are at WDW right now, so if you're there and you see them, give them a high-five for me!

Kidd Kraddick in the Morning is a radio show based in Texas. Every year he raises money to send terminally and chronically ill children to Disney World. He flies these kids and their families in on Thursday evening and they stay for a weekend on grounds and visit the parks. Visit their websites www.kiddskids.com and www.kiddlive.com for more info (check out the Kidd's Kids songs for a real tear-jerker). I need to plan a trip when Kidd's Kids go!

Taken from the Kidd's Kids website:
I founded Kidd's Kids in 1991 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of terminally and chronically ill children. Each year, Kidd's Kids offers five amazing days of suspended reality to children whose lives have been ravaged by disease. No hospital visits, no shots, no uncomfortable stares from strangers. Just five straight days of sheer joy and excitement at "the most magical place on earth," Walt Disney World®. Kidd's Kids children and their families are given the chance to experience the exuberance of being "normal." That is the gift that you and I can offer by supporting the Kidd's Kids organization.

Signed,
Kidd

I was listening to them this morning (in NW FL) and love that they do that. I'm sure the smiles on their faces is amazing!

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 to them!

I hope they are having an amazing trip! Wishing them much pixie dust!

I have cried every morning on the way to work listening to these stories. These are special people that will do this. God bless!!!

I was down there with Kidd's Kids last week, and even went through security with them in the airport! they are a great bunch and the kids were all so sweet! i hope that this program continues into the future for a long time!

I have been an avid listner of Kidd's for close to 10years now and try to donate each year to Kidds Kids. I think it is a great charity in that they are able to take the whole family with them, not just the sick child. Its pretty cool that they are able to go with other familes that are in similar situations as them, just to let them know that they're not alone. My wife is a flight attendant for Southwest and was wanted to volunteer for the flight down last year but she missed the sign up. This year they called her to see if she was still interested, but due to a medical condition that is keeping her grounded for the time being she missed it again. She really hopes that she gets to do it next year. I would love to win the lottery and give them enough cash for a whole trip one year.

I saw them there last week - I didn't know what the t-shirts meant then! Thanks for letting us know. I'm sure they had a great time - what a wonderful thing to do.

I've listened to Kidd Kraddick since his first morning show in the DFW area. I'm thinking it's been at least 20 years now. It is an amazing charity that I donate to whenever I can. What I like most about it, is that they take the entire family. Some other charities only take the sick child and one parent. With Kidd's Kidds it doesn't matter if it's a family of 9, they all get to go. I need to get back to their studios and take some picures. The last time I was there Big Al came out, and I forgot to get my DS8's picture with him.
