Kiddie Pools

My one-year-old son loved the wading pool at BWV and we are making plans to visit WDW again next year. Do all of the DVC resorts have kiddie pools? I can't find this info in the Guidebook.

Also, does antyone know about kiddie pools on the Disney Cruise Line (Wonder specifically)? I had heard that the kiddie pool had been converted into a fountain-type area since swim diapers are not allowed in ship pools. Any info would be appreciated!

Can't speak for all DVC resorts - but I know there's one at the main pool at WL. There's a website - www.wdwig.com go under Accomodations and you can click on photos of each resort and usually there are pool pictures so you can see for yourself. Sorry, I don't know anything about the Cruise !

There is a kiddie pool at OKW, and I guess the entire shallow sandy section of Stormalong Bay could be considered a kiddie pool.

The Mickey pool on both ships has the slide (height requirment) and the ears are wading pools for the little ones. I do think there is a rule that children must be potty trained and no swim diapers. Go on the cruise forum, you'll have your answer in no time!

SAB sandy pool is the ultimate kiddie pool. It starts as zero entry sand bottom, with water pooling up from under the sand (lots of fun to play in) and gets up to 2 feet deep. It is all sandy bottom, but very clean. I have never found a place like it any where else and it is soooo much fun for they very old and young at heart. Nothing else even compares.

The pool at the BCV is great for little ones. My son had just started to walk when we went last year and he LOVED the sand bottomed pool. It is the ULTIMATE. My DH and I just sat in the sand a few inches under the water and talked while my DS and DD played for hours in the sand and water. It will be great again this year because he is a little older and won't have to wear swimmies because it only gets about 2 feet deep.
