The depth is good, but my only gripe (other than the fact that my baby got an e-coli type bacteria from it) was that the surrounding barrier to climb up and out of (or into) is a scratchy cement. Lots of skinned toes at that pool. But, the kids had fun and bacteria is rampant in kiddie pools. So, you just have to use your best judgement and hope that things are ok. The regular larger pool has very large sets of steps that are nice to sit on and let the little ones wade there.
The Kiddie pool at FW was absolutely freezing when we went in January. When we asked a CM about it, he said that it was impossible to keep it warm because it got so cold at night. It was so cold that my kids wouldn't even go in it.
