Can someone describe this to me, if there is one, or direct me to some pics? Previously we have stayed at CR and ASMo, but CR was pre-DS and ASMo was pre-DS wanting to be in water. He is a little intimidated by the "big" pool, so I just wondered if perhaps a "kiddie" pool might be more to his liking. (He'll be 2 1/2 at trip time.)

I don't think there is a kiddy pool as such - but there are those things that kids love - where you run through it and it sprays you - like at Epcot - it comes out of the ground.

Okay I probably didn't do a good job of descripting it.....

I didn't take any pictures of the main pool area - where this is located - so I can't help with that.

We just stayed at PC in April but I can't remember the "kiddie pool", my "kids" are 19 and 21 so I guess I don't look anymore. They do have a fun water area near the 60's building where water squirts up at various times and the little ones were having a great time splashing around in there. The ground around the squirting fountains is rubberized so it's safe and the unexpected water bursts are fun.

forgot to say - this resort has lots, and lots of lifeguards - even the quiet type of pool - where they generally aren't any - even that little pool has 2 lifeguards - when the kids are there....

so I don't think your son will have any problems - the quiet pool that I loved is over in the 50 section.

Here is what you want to know. Most hotels have the typical Kidde Pool where its about 1 - 2 ft deep square.. BORING.

The PC pool is awesome. In the 60s you have the HIPPITY DIPPITY pool. Its a big flower. Just above the pool is the kiddie pool. It is a round (sort of flower like) pool with some fountains. My DD (2 1/2) LOVED it. I have some pics but don't know how to really post them here. PM me and I'll email them to you.

Not sure if the other decades have kiddie pools we just hit the one in the 60s.

I appreciate the info. Deedee, I emailed you. Thanks a ton!

We were at PC earlier this month and they do have a kiddie pool. As the previous poster mentioned it is located just past the Hippy Dippy pool. It is a zero entry type pool and I suspect it is about a foot or so deep in the middle. It has little things in it that spray out water like a fountain. The ground/floor of the kiddie pool area is that soft spongy material that is cushy when you walk on it so if the little ones fall they aren't falling on concrete. My 2 1/2 year old daughter (and even her 7 year old brother) loved it. There is also an area between Everything Pop and the 70s building sections which has those spraying fountains in the gound that the kids like. The other two pools (Computer and Bowling pin) didn't have kiddie pools from what I recall.
